Sorry if this is already somewhere on this forum but I cannot find the .car files to export for forum competitions etc. In my “CarSaveExport” folder is empty so I assume that is the wrong location?

You need to export the cars from the game for them to appear there. In the sandbox menu, click the diskette symbol for any trim to export it.
