Hi guys
Can I ask why ABS doesn’t have an effect on the car safety? Is the safety rating only the structural integrity of the car, rather than the “gizmos” that help you keep the car under control?
I know it gives a bonus to drivability but would have thought that it would help safety too.

I’ve had a similar question before when suggesting new driving aids.
The safety score is for the moment of impact, and not the features that work to avoid that. Anything that works to avoid a crash helps drivability.
Drivability = How difficult it is to crash
Safety = How dead you are when you crash
Is that that drivability actually means? All this time I thought it was about how easy it was to drive/use in general, not crash 
Well, it means that (easy to drive) as well
