Dalnit-Bralka Rally 1965 [FINAL RESULTS!]

I would echo what has already been posted - I would think some of these could be cars you can buy in the showroom, prepped (to a smaller or lesser degree) by the factory team or an independent team. Some are probably far enough from the original that they should be based on a homologation trim. From the point of view of your lore, I see no reason why it couldn’t be either the factory team or an independent team driving it (it’s possible the homologation model would have been developed by the factory for a different racing event). Does that answer your question?

Market price is before factory setup stuff. The factory settings don’t save quite right in the current version, so they’re usually not used.

Lots of pretty cars signing up
I have so far received entries from:
abg7
Madrias

Der_Bayer
TR8R

So, how do I submit?

export your car, and send it to @HowlerAutomotive via PM

Hello @stm316 and welcome to Automation community

Since you’re new here I would like to explain a couple of things, with the risk of being pedantic

  1. After you press export in main Scenario window a zip file will be generated. I use windows 7 and for me the .zip is generated at:

C:\Users\RaDU\Documents\My Games\Automation\Export

  1. You mustn’t confuse total cost with market price. Total cost in generated in the overview section. Total price is some sort of estimated sell price generated in the markets tab:

  1. this game has a pretty long learning curve so if your results aren’t as expected at first don’t feel discouraged. and at some point I believe there’s also a matter of skill. I’ve been playing this game on and off since ~2013 and I only rarely won and there are a few players here that I never managed to defeat, but I still enjoy the game and dedicate it as much time as a guy with a wife, a job and a social life can.

that pretty much covers it all. Hope I didn’t bored/scared you.

WTF is a “social life”?

Forgot to mention FOA drivers…

We like to call them Black and White.

In case you need to be told…Black is on the left!

#The Alpatti 642 Rallye.

Team 642 are back for the Dalnit-Bralka Rally. Being only sponsored by themselves, Alpatti doesn’t have much money to spare to this event. Running in their usual white, they may not look formidable, but they will try their damnedest to place!

The Alpatti 642:

Team 642 Wishes all teams good luck in the even!

If I sent in my car can I just post my story and posters? I was waiting until I got a response from @HowlerAutomotive but he hasn’t PM’d me back so I don’t really know right now.

Yup, of course you can.

Just to confirm what @TR8R already said, you are encouraged to put up your story and posters here.

As I have said in PMs to some people who have already submitted, I won’t be opening any cars up until the entries close and qualifying/scrutineering begins. However, if you notice anything wrong with your car before the deadline, you are welcome to resubmit it. Just keep in mind that the idea of this is to let you fix the original car to comply with the rules, not to submit something completely different.

@RaduST great writeup, cheers!

Hi all !
ANDROMEDA Industries is proud to announce their entry in the Dalnit-Bralka Rally.
We are a small company operating from a small factory (basically a shed  ) specialising in dedicated builds and one-offs.
Our Head of Operations, Mr T.J. Cashalot (who is also our chairman), will be taking on the role of the pilot relying mostly on the few hours of practice he had around the local go-kart track every time the staff at Andromeda had a teambuilding event. In the copilot seat our company places its trust in Mr. M.D. Breakall our company’s Head Engineer and mainly responsible for the design put forward for this competition.
The design proposed for the Dalnit-Bralka Rally is a light four wheel drive coupe powered by a 161 bhp V6 engine.
Wish them luck!

ANDROMEDA Industries wishes to express their support to all participants in the Dalnit-Bralka Rally!!!
See you all at the finish line !

Woodley Automotive, originally a luxury car manufacture, has been around for 20 years without any interest in auto racing. Woodley has never experimented with race cars or engines before, although they have made quite a few sports cars in recent years. In an attempt to show what Woodley could do the company entered into the Dalnit-Bralka Rally. The car, wasn’t based off any car they had made but it did have their unique styling. Including a cheeky useless wing at the back. The company was hoping to be competitive, but since the engineers had little experience with rally cars, or race cars in general, they had no clue what would happen.

To compete, Woodley obviously needed some professional rally drivers to put in the car. But these drivers weren’t exactly what you would call professional. Garey Carol, was a smart and strategic man, who had a weird love for old German cars. He was originally from Scotland, but his family moved to Quebec when he was just 8 years old. He had a neat pair of glasses, short brown hair, and was quite short, at just 5 feet, 7 inches. The driver, was much less sophisticated. Martin Judicaёl, is a 23 year old French man with a short temper. He loved to go fast, which meant he wasn’t pleased with the car we gave him. He wanted to drive prototype cars at Le mans, so he started racing at the age of 7, and was close to getting where he wanted, but he went to university for a year and is currently on his summer break. His summer job is racing.

At the Woodley Driving Center, the two got to know each other. After around half an hour of driving the car on the dirt track, Garey and Martin got into a heated argument which started with what type of suspension setting they should use, and ended with the best kind of apple you can buy. After the argument was settled on Gala apples, they continued to test the car until they found the right setup. After that they practiced and practiced and practiced for weeks, until it was time to hit the rally stages…

Good luck to all the competitors at the event.

Sorry, it was kind of a weird compliment. But seriously, it’s a really good looking car you’ve got there.

this is definately the right competition for the wiseman 4x4! totally unsure on how to balance power/economy though.
