Farox Motor Company - Personality in Motion - New Arctica Announced

Logo Farox Motor Company - Personality in Motion

Farox Motor Company is an American automobile manufacturer that produces premium vehicles. They are a subsidiary of Farox LLC., and a sister company to Farox Powertrain Solutions. Their first models were introduced to the US market by late 1985. There was the compact Cielo and midsize Aerio. Both offered 4 and 6-cylinder engines, and both surpassed 22 mpg combined, and both were a huge success.
Their goal was to establish themselves as a company that made reliable premium vehicles. This was easily achieved, and it still holds true; they now compete with the likes of Lexus, BMW and Cadillac, and are known worldwide for their quality assets.

Welcome to the official organized thread of the Farox Motor Company! This is where l’ll post about my brand and all of the cars we’ve made, along with the history behind them.

The way this is going to work is basically like a catalog. Kind of a magazine, even… I have a Google Doc with this “magazine” and I’ll post the pages in this thread, organized into little sections. I’m doing this at 2:30 AM, I’ve got this!

Here is the first issue, containing the first three cars to come out of Farox. Enjoy!

These pages are for the second generation of Farox’s big two (the Aerio and the Cielo.)

I apologize for not posting in a while. I’ve said I want to show off my design skill in this game and I haven’t really proven my worth yet. So here is this!

This is the 2018 Farox Omega. It’s our halo car, the peak of our design language and engineering prowess. It boasts a specially made 5.8L V10 winding out to 8,000 RPM and 570 horsepower, and for some reason still hits up to 17 mpg. Oh and it’s a manual (or DCT if you prefer)
I hope y’all enjoy

The rear end has echoes of the new NSX, and the lighting fixtures there follow a similar pattern to the front. All in all, a highly attractive proposition indeed.

#7

My comment was I really like the rear accidently deleted… Actually I like the whole design

Thank you! I used lot of the new mods from @l5o2k1s, to HUGE thanks to him! I saw them in the steam workshop and thought to myself that it looks like I had designed them, especially the grille. They were the exact thing I had in mind for Farox!

Spy shot of a prototype from an unnamed brand… we know it’s powered by Farox though

Nice!

Just when you thought it didn’t get any better.

The Omega V10-R is here. Better power, better handling, two more turbos and no more compromise.

With an astounding 650 hp and 650 lb-ft from a twin turbo version of the standard 5.8L V10 paired to a shorter ratio 7-speed manual and AWD, the Omega can do 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and fly around the Belasco Raceway 4 seconds quicker. Test drive, anyone?

I would love to test drive the omega!

So I tried my hand into the pickup market and I think I nailed it. This is the Farox Arctica, which we’ve been making since 2002 starting in the 2003 model year. Sales have been strong, averaging about 560,000 units per year.

The first generation Arctica came out for the 2003 model year as a body-on-frame pickup. It featured an advanced suspension setup with independant front suspension and coil spring rear, making it one of the best riding pickups on the market.

Pair the advanced high strength chassis to a legendary, Toyota-level reliable Farox F9 series engines and a 5-speed automatic with 4WD, locking diffs and a low-range, you have the recipe for an amazing all around truck.

Some engine specifications for y’all: you could get a 265 hp/260 lb-ft 4.0L V6 or a 300 hp/320 lb-ft 5.6L V8.

2009 marked the second generation for the Arctica. It retained the advanced chassis setup with some minor changes to make it stiffer and more driveable, and it recieved updated versions of the same line of engines. I’ll just leave it at that, and let you guys admire it

There are models available to test drive from our heritage collection if anyone is really interested.

I really want to make some more lore, though simple it can still be done. But I also would like to make some modern designs to give a feel for what Farox is and to show off what we are. So I’m going to do this poll, let me know what you guys want!

  • Lore! Give me some 80’s and 90’s Farox! (Won’t be the greatest cause I’m not great at old stuff, but you can see some of what it would be like in the first post!)
  • Modern cars! Show me some cool new Farox!

Is the cielo midsize or compact or full-size?

#20

Midsize premium sedan! Equipped with a 2.0L Turbo returning 33MPG combined, while getting it to 60 in a respectable 7.5 seconds.
