How do I do N/A engines?

I am bored and just want to make a practical utility vehicle from 2010 with a big N/A v8 (6.8L, and for fun), problem is, I don’t know how to make a good N/A engine (I’m Decent wit turbos). So I would like to ask you, the community, for some tips on making a good N/A engine.

All tips are appreciated, thanks!

When you are not making a hipo engine, less is more, cams between 24-38 timing between 60-70, usually turns out a happy well adjusted N/A engine for regular driving.

Also, unlike with turbo cars, more compression is usually better (More economical and more power). And of course, what @Lordred said about not going silly with the cams is good too!
