I continued with the same campaign (having corrected the safety debacle). 1991 was the first year I was able to turn a profit.

I’ve never seen a score in the negatives :joy:

LOL! Decades of “negative markup” took its toll. At one point, I think I was giving people money to take the cars off my hands.

I’d take your money and your car, it’s a fantastic business model!

too bad about the resale though

Successfully made it to 1964 with $830m. Difficulty at only 1.0

Here is my second car. Still above water! https://youtu.be/1JfotG0xc2s

Coming June 1969

The Flying Dutchman the fastest land yacht on the planet.

And in case that isn’t enough insanity for you

The Dutchman 4x is a land yacht that can handle rougher seas.

Seems to be working though! Record profits just before the turn of the century.

…but will it be enough to cover the development costs of the last 2 cars? Stay tuned!

ACD Motors survived the massive economic contraction that lasted from 1962-1983, so anything’s possible!

Slim decided to start with LOADS of money and engineers but made the competition insanely stiff such that he’d never ever actually be able to compete reasonably. It’s technically an insane difficulty but the gambit was that he wouldn’t run out of money before the model became viable :joy:

The 60s car was quite easy, but only because of the record economy. You’ll see it on monday in the new episode. I’m excited, which suprises the 70s will have. 1978 will be hard with this shitty leaded ban in fruinia. I don’t think that my 1975 car will be in production till then.

As always, I’m late to the party :stuck_out_tongue:
Here is my second car!

on another note. i tried to do it off-camera
