1989 Alba update, 262C & 262T trims revealed!
A year after the presentation of the Alba, Meliora introduced 2 new 2-door trims, called the 262C (convertible) and the 262T (T stands for touring, not turbo) both build upon the 264P but with 2 doors. Both trims were equipped with the the same 2.7L 6 cylinder engine and 180hp from the 264P, the convertible only available with a 4 speed auto w/overdrive and the Touring only came with a 5 speed manual. Other difference included a revised a sporty suspension for the touring, and bigger brakes. The 262T also included a new 4.1 audio system and a new Automatic climate control system, as well as a new variable power steering technology that made the car easy to control at high speeds.
