The Estrato Origins is a love letter to our past. But we are not here to have a nostalgic trip, we’re here to place that past in the future. While the styling ideas from the original Estrato are still there, we brought that design to modern times, giving it a futuristic twist. The result is our subcompact, looking like it came straight out of a science fiction or cyberpunk movie.
Instead of steel like the original Estrato, the Origins is built entirely in aluminium, from the chassis to the panels; this offsets the weight down to 980kg, with a full 5 seat interior and infotainment. Three of the five seats can be folded down into the floor, turning the Estrato Origins into a two seater and greatly increasing trunk room.
The 1.2 liter 3 cylinder engine has been tuned to the extreme. It now displaces only one liter and produces 110 horsepower naturally aspirated, redlining at 10000rpm, while still returning 5.6l/100k economy. The power is transfered to the front wheels through a five speed manual transmission. This allows the Origins concept to accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 7.7 seconds.
