Strange exhaust on 90's future body (Workshop)

I’m using the 90’s future body made by “send nudes” from the workshop.

Is this strange exhaus arrangement caused by the mod itself or by Automation’s engine creator?
Can someone replicate this behaviour on his game?

The exhaust of this body still behaves strangely, but at least the positioning works with an exhaust fixture in place. I also changed the engine from transverse to longitudinal to improve the strange piping loops.
