The 1966 Great Archanian Trek

So yeah, I’m ending this here. I enjoyed it, but the manner in which I organised it behind the scenes was tedious. I have an idea for a new competition, a bit in the same format, and with the help of BeamNG. I hope to see you there.

1966 Great Archanian Trek Award Ceremonies

Stage 1 winners:

Congrats to Luke Sinistra and Mark Jasper of the Sinistra Performance Division with the Sinistra Savage Concept; a crazy car with crazy performance (@Madrias).

First amateur: Jean-Claude Cassenave and André Lacassagne of Team Pyrénées in the SOCAUT Pyrénées V8 (@KamikazeF0X).

Stage 2 winners:

Congrats to Daniel Chase and Jack Williams of Keika Automotive in the Keika I Safari; a car that was a contender but suffered some bad luck in the mechanics department (@BoostandEthanol) .

First Amateur: father and son Ferreira and the Ferreira Family Crashing Team’s Bruce’s Loose Nut Jar (@HardRooster).

Stage 3 winners:

Finally some luck for David Mathews and Emerton Mathews and the Sakura-Mathews America Factory Team. The Sakura Empress S (E10) Baja Custom is a great car, but a bit of a fragile affair compared to the competition (@Fayeding_Spray).

First Amateur: Two times anonymous in the BM Feather (@TheElt)

Special Awards:

Most enjoyable to drive car (BeamNG): LSV Buccaneer - Halti Special (@LS-Vehicles).

Most drivable in Automation: Franklin Rhino G&EHE1966 (@Jaimz).

Most reliable car: Bogliq GPDV TREK Car (@HighOctaneLove).

Fastest car in terms of lap speed: Keika I Safari (@BoostandEthanol)

Thank you for hosting, @Private_Miros!

I can understand needing to wrap up one to start another, especially if the behind-the-scenes is kicking your butt.

Chances are, I’ll be there in your next competition, with something either completely crazy or surprisingly tame.

Podium, sweet! Great competition @Private_Miros , even if it had to be ended early. Really nice writeups, really nice idea, and I hope it comes back another time

This was a very enjoyable challenge to be a part of. Not only the challenge, but you put a lot of work into this writing everything up and giving us a story to go along with the results, you deserve a huge thanks for that. I can’t wait for your next challenge!
