One way you could make it look a little more modern is to reduce the amount of chrome you’re using (shock horror!). That way it’ll quickly become more of a retro-classic style.

but I was thinking about my Synth (mid-class boxy car, you can see at airborne thread) successor and your car reminded me that I had project of PT-Cruiser-like-style (or Chevy SSR, depends) retro car called Type 50 somewhere in the drawings (planned for 1997).
