Wolfe motor company (WMC) is a Swedish car manufacturer founded in 1965. (I lost all my cars for my previous company due to a malware infection on my computer so I had to do a clean install, so starting a new company to share designs)
One of the first cars produced by WMC is the Locust. A compact economic sedan that’s still exciting to drive. Released in 1967 in two trim levels, the 2300 and 230P, it was a big hit as a budget fun car, pony budget, family sport as well as utility, city and passenger fleet and a bit in city eco. The 2300 is the most basic trim with just a basic five seat interior and basic AM radio. Standard equipment throughout the range is power steering and standard grade safety features. All of the trims run on the same 2.3L I4 with 90hp and four speed manual where the fourth gear is overdrive. A notable feature is the Longitudinal FWD driveline of this vehicle which was used to fit the big engine under the hood.
The 230P trim is the same car but with standard interior and AM radio which offered a slight comfort increase and price increase to 7787$ (today). It was ever so slightly less popular then the 2300. Both of these trims received a facelift in 1973.

In 1973, the Locust got a facelift to keep it going for more years. A rework of design features but keeping the engine, driveline and so forth the same. Even the new Locust was incredibly popular like it’s now out of production brother. The facelift variant also came in two flavors, like the previous version, which are Locust 2300 and 230P. The 2300 and 230P were not sold in nations requiring catalytic converters from 1975. Production for the 2300 and 230P ended in 1980

Pictured is the Satsuma 340E, but only difference between 340E and 2300 is exhaust size, tire size and badging
In 1975, a two door variant of the Locust was released, now re labelled as the Satsuma 2300. The slightly lighter construction and the simplicity of having only two doors and a trunk reduced the price and weight of the car, giving it better fuel economy. While not as popular in a few segments as its four door brother, it still sold very well. The Satsuma range had standard 70s safety equipment. Production ended in 1980.

To meet increasing emission regulations, especially in the US, the Satsuma 340E (E for export) was released, featuring a 3.4L 126hp V6 with a catalytic converter. This car also only came in one version and it was with standard interior and Basic AM radio. Not as popular as the 2.3L I4 versions but still sold in decent numbers.

Pictured is a modified pre-facelift Locust 2300 with a fat exhaust
The Locust was a popular car to tune amongst petrolheads. The capable engine could easily push out over 130hp with the right mods. Pictured is a heavily modded Locust 2300 featuring a highly tuned 2.3L I4 with 139hp and 193Nm of torque. Changes include a straight pipe and twin DCOE race carbs as well as tuned cams and fuel mixture. With a changed gearbox, it does 0-100KM/H in just 7.7 seconds and maxes out at 188 KM/H
