There will be a design vote and there will be a reward for the winners.

I’m still not sure how I’m going to do it, I’ll probably divide it between factory cars and privateers.

Per slider or in total?

Per slider.

By the way here’s an additonal car for the inspirations, the Mercedes 300SEL 6.3.

It doesn’t really fit the rules because the engine is way to big, but it’s a good visual inspiration if you want to go for a large engined car with a more European look.

Also the racing version looks amazing imo.

sorry for potentially dumb question, but what suspension schemes were generally common during the time?
would double wishbones all around be too unrealistic?

I may have missed something in the rules, but are we allowed to submit up to TWO cars for homologation, as long as they compete in different classes? Two numbers = two different race cars, but could they come from two different user made homologation cars?

How far out of scope of this challenge is something like a 911?

You can only submit one homologation model. Then when you submit your racecar, if you have the budget for it you can have up to three of that car in each race.

You can have a factory team and a private team, so two different models and a maximum of six cars in a race.

I’ll make it clearer on the main post when I update it.

IRL the 911 was denied the Group 2 homologation. As long as it’s not something like a supercar it’s fine by me. If you’re not sure you can DM me and give me more details.

does anyone already have ideas on what are they going to make?

I’m thinking of a Japanese-styled sedan (think Toyota Carina, Mazda Capella or Nissan Bluebird) that’d fit in one of the middle categories

I’m going for something like a ford falcon

You can only reserve two numbers and 23 is taken anyways. I’ll give you 75 & 476.
