The Archana-Dalluha Car Factory (ADAZ) presents…
Thanks to all who sent their submissions, Please wait as I go ahead and test your cars.
Quick update, BeamNG side of things has been done, only doing the point counts from the Automation side of things. Should announce the winners by tomorrow!
Thank you all you engineers for partaking in this challenging task! Let’s see who made their country proud (And their family free). Here are the results!
@Vento HPB Codzie 26 points
Note from the leader:
The car was safe and cheap, but the design was bland and so was every other thing about it. Just a car to get you from A to B, would that be enough to be the car of the nation?
@PhirmEggplant 1975 Prisma SE 27 points
Note from the leader:
This car is serviceable, but sadly did not exceed in any category, it has a great engine, but it’s higher price (than the cars higher in the list) and low safety was the reason it didn’t make it to the top.
@edsel Bazard L14M 29 points
Note from the leader:
The Car was cheap, and that’s the only thing that it had going for it, the gearing made the experience bland mixed with a low power and high emission engine.
@machalel Bechov 30 points
Note from the leader:
One of the safest cars but also one of the most expensive. The car has a good driving experience and also a decent engine. It’s just a good car.
@DuceTheTruth100 Axxus 500 30 points
Note from the leader:
The most expensive, but also the top 3 in looks. The car offered one of the best driving experiences but due to its low safety and high price, it came short.
@xsneakyxsimx Chevre Panier 34 points
Note from the leader:
Although it was unsafe and prone to understeer and lock its brakes, the car was a creative design and a genuine fun ride, also being the 3rd cheapest car! Might sell this design to the French.
And now for the top 3!
@caligo the МПС M 842 2000 35 points
Note from the leader:
This car has one of the best looking designs, but it suffers from a major oversteer issue on the roads as it tends to lose traction really easily. Other than that, a great design.
@isabela Hexe Joan 43 points
Note from the leader:
The Cheapest, the safest, the most serviceable. Truly a great face for this nation, although not the prettiest design, the fastest, or the most creative, the Joan was an all around greatness that managed to climb it way to the top. Good work engineer but wait, is it a shared first place?
@moroza ADAZ 62255-6 43 points
Note from the leader:
The most creative submission, and almost the cheapest, the design showed great potential due to its light and compact structure but also a well balanced chassis making it a fun car for streets of redacted. And surprisingly matching the points of Joan’s design. And due to us really liking both cars, we will fund both cars to be made!
Again thank you for partaking and congratulate our winners @moroza, @Isabella. @Caligo for almost winning and @xsneakyxsimx for the technical third place! Merry christmas!
Yay thanks for the host, but I’m a little confused why you said I almost won when the Codzie is in last place ?
Oh wrong guy
yay! not last place again, I’m on a streak!
Thanks for hosting this challenge, i had a lot of fun creating something that i can hopefully build on in the future.
Thanks for hosting. I had fun, win was unexpected, but hey, I’ll take it.
Creative? Not really. It’s heavily based on the ADAZ 62254 that featured in QFC48…
…which in turn was little more than a 4-door replica of a ZAZ 968:
But I had a lot of fun making and developing the design anyway. I feel that the Beam testing encouraged a better-rounded car overall. This little thing was well out of my traditional comfort zone…
…and I’m better for it.
The challenge was a bit light on the reviews and depth, but just fine for your first. I look forward to any more you may host.
Thanks for partaking, but yeah, might not do anymore beam testing, took a lot out of me. Honestly wasn’t expecting more than 5 people submitting cars… But we got 9 and most of them have different variants. But yeah plans for future will maybe not include a BeamNG testing.
I do have something planned tho. As a teaser, “Legacy and tradition”
Is funny I did so well in spite of not knowing how (or even attempting to) tune for Beam.
“best looking design, over-steers easily”
Yeah, that about sums up my efforts xD
Thanks for running the challenge, was fun to take part!
