1982 Le Mans 24 Hours C-ERA [RESULTS IN PAGE 11]

Safety?

Here are my 2 main question.

  • By TECH YEAR you mean the ENGINE YEAR ONLY right?
  • Can 1 person enter GT AND C class at the same time, or it’s 1 category per person?

Basic 80s, with slider set to 0.

Due to computer problems (MOSFETS burned in my motherboard, and currently I using the notebook with Crunchbang), I doesn’t have computer for a 1 or 2 weeks.

Gemina XIII-Ilmor Pa-X.

I hope that the lap times used in the calculations for 74 LeMans were flying lap times. If they were standing start times, then this^ is slower than a 8 years old car.

I’m pretty sure this means both chassis and engine year must be 1982, since we’re presuming the event was set in 1982 or is a historic event for 1982 cars.

Also, you can enter both classes at the same time.

My car is more a work of art deco than a racer, but well  Here’s some work in progress shots:

(a.k.a. the legendary artistic precursor to Sleipnir!)

:open_mouth:

Question: Since your PC is busted (sorry to hear that BTW), could you postpone the deadline for a week? Maybe the extra time will bring in some extra competitors.

Yep. Tech year must be set to 1982.

My GT race car.

Working on an entry, Yuri, I’ll search you and your gemina on the track! Probably not calling my entry SD-01R or something similar again, for the pronunciation sake ;D

 Oh yeah. That brings back memories. I am looking forward to another (hopefully) close race.

“The engine reliability they be equal or more than 7.5” Is this a typo and you meant 75? Because that’s really low

Nah it’s definitely not a typo, and yes, it really is low, but general consensus is in the absence of real correlation, since this is a single race engine, that kind of reliability is acceptable for this kind of use.

I’m working on my GT right now. Struggling to make it heavy enough.

Are we talking about production units?

Only the man hours are 1100

Any ideas how to gain 22 kg

Sound insulation, interior quality and safety. But they are all locked. It seems that vmo hasn’t thought it thoroughly enough.

I started to work on a car, but I don’t think I’ll take part. If anyone wants a 700 hp engine for the group C car that fits transversely, send me a PM.

You can also twiddle with quality of your body and chassis materials, but that may affect rigidity.

I honestly have no idea where I can find the man hours information in this version of automation.
