1996 STCC [Closed, except if waiting for approval]

Tournament has opened. I look forward to see what people have made.

Isnt the weight limit a bit on the high side?

I can make the 114 inch landyacht weigh close to 800 kg and still have it compliant with all the rules…

Even the 60’s boat can be made to weigh 900 kg and be compliant…

The reason for minimum weight IRL is so that the cars aren’t made with bodypanels thinner than a soda can.
WRC cars have a minimum of 1250kg IIRC.

The engines in the STCC and BTCC was limited to 8500 rpm. Maybe this is something to add.

I’ve set the minimum weight “high” to prevent cars in the Golf class from having an advantage against the family sedans. And to prevent people from setting the body quality to -15.

In that case ill be submitting this:

V6 AWD with huge ass tyres

BAM is trying to gain some Swedish customers, too, by entering the BAM Bavaria STCC BRC #11.

Those decals are SICK Martin. As in great.

I’m inspired. It’s time to up my own game!

Introduced in 1992, the fourth generation of the Baltazar Basil is a medium sized sedan, that bla bla bla. Sorry, not in the mood for presentations. The car has got a facelift for the 1995 model year. Here are the civilian versions of the car, firstly the base 1.6 Eco trim, with a massive 90 hp from its engine. Secondly, the 2.5 Lux, with a 160 hp DOHC V6 engine. And lastly, the 2.8 RS6 version, which is just the touring car homologation version (but not really), at least it looks like a de-winged racer, and the V6 engine has been upped to 2.8 litres and 220 hp.

The racing version, although mostly ready, has gone back to the marketing department to be proper liveried.

@ Der Bayer: That is actually a really smart and creative idea, I r8 8/8
@ Leo: Why do the front fascias on all of your cars remind me of Peugots?

Darn you all and your nice looking sedans… I’m gonna have to step up my game.

That’s not surprising, as I think that their 90s cars were the best looking, so there is a bit of 406 on the design of this car, as there is a bit of 306 on the design of the 93’ Quark. Other than those, I don’t think I made any peugeot-like cars recently.

Here’s a little taste of what Soltra Motorsport will bring to the table.
I’m Pretty sure that i’ll be the only one running RWD

P.S. If I have to remove my massive diffuser, (which you aren’t allowed to see for strategic reason’s) I’ll Just say I WON’T be happy. Also Please excuse the low quality of the Pic, I have to run on low settings in spring and summer (I live In New Zealand) or my pc will gladly overheat. I’m also hoping that I am Alowed to use this car body.

¿And the minimum RON fuel required and the catalytic converter?

(I may have just posted this like 3 times by accident)

wait wut? O_O

buddy. im in Indonesia…
you know where that is? it’s on the equator. we dont even have a winter season.
and the average ambient temp here is around 30~40 degrees C on a sunny day.

surely where you are cant be that hot? your pc must have some cooling problems.

So, here’s what I spent my afternoon doing:
I present to you the 1996 Microwave Motors “Define” (Yes, I just reused the model name, stfu)
In 1996, the Define was a slightly premium 4 door saloon car. It featured a 1999cc Inline-6 Cylinder engine which put out a fair amount of power. I can’t be bothered describing much else, so here is the car (white one is the premium model, the red one is the “SS” variant, the one that is competing in this challenge. Just thought I’d chuck the premium one in there too).

Sorry for the awful montage, but here is the full Basil line-up, with the looks-wise finished Touring version.

Soon…

The racing version of the 1995 Zenit viewtopic.php?f=35&t=2858&p=85603#p84553

LHE will not be entering due to lack of a suitable engine.

The 1893cc X4-M will be too far down on power.

Would you be willing to invest in a Boss Motorsports 2000cc V6 specifically tuned for the competition?
