2008 Hakaru Astura Facelift

2003 brought a beautiful, stylish, economical, practical, reliable, and most importantly affordable MPV to the market- the Hakaru Astura. 2008 brings the facelift, refreshing the car's look.

Featuring a 107hp 1.4 litre 5BE-G Series engine, the ehanced injection system ups the fuel economy to 47mpg. Advanced safety system with reversing camera is available on trims above SE-L, on SE-G, SE-I, DSe-i, GT-S and GT-SR model.

The 5BE line of engines has been developed specifically for the Astura MPV, with a new smoother 5 speed automatic, 5 speed or even 6 speed (available only on GT-SR models) gearbox. Based on the Carica, the Astura's interior is comfortable but practical, with cloth, easy-clean seats and a split folding rear bench. Electric sliding doors make this a convenience rather than a task, which have their own place as a button on the key fob.

2008 will see the completion of the latest revival of British sports car maker Phantom- the new R1 model range will be joined by a track-focused variant, the Silverstone Edition. With a mean bodykit, 143hp from its screamer of a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated I4, the option of a 6-speed sequential transmission, and stylish carbon detailing, this lightweight hardtop coupe will set any good B-road alight.

First of all, excuse me for being o.t., but it’s been a while since I’m not playing Automation, but I’ve heard about the decision of adding again some engine design choices as basament color/engine coverings around mid Sept.
Seeing your photos here it seems that the update has already arrived… Or is this a kind of good Photoshop work?

Fixture stuff, its a bit hard to do but theres several techniques used, for example using several cars and patchwork to make doors.

So, if I’m nof wrong, engine coverings are yet available…

Those power numbers sound nothing like 2008, more like 2018. IntelliKey also sounds nothing like tech to boast about in 2008, more like 1998.

The power figures come mostly from smart turbo tuning, and IntelliKey is my company’s name for smart key, a feature that started rolling out in irl cars around this same time. (For the record, the power figure on some engines were within acceptable ranges: while different cars, the gas V6 turbo is only 50hp shy of the GTR’s power output at the time, and the V8 only makes 30hp more than the comparable Cayenne Turbo S. The diesel engine is sort of overpowered however.)

Introducing the all new 2008 Voltari Laguna, a 2 door luxury sport coupe. The Laguna is built on Voltari’s all-new VMC (Voltari Modular Compact) platform, which mixes aluminum for weight savings with strengthened steel to provide rigidity and stiffness. The Laguna sports two powerful engines mated to Voltari’s first DCT, the 6-speed VTC (Voltari Twin Clutch) transmission, and standard all-wheel drive. All Lagunas also come standard with a 6.5in touchscreen with built-in GPS navigation, Intellikey keyless entry/push-button start, a 12 speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system, and a standard back-up camera. The Laguna goes on sale in GT and Edition One trims later this year, starting at $28,750/£21,715 for the GT models, and $31,000/£23,415 for the Edition One.

First up in the Laguna lineup is the GT, powered by a 2.0L I4 turbo making 267hp and 259 lb-ft of torque, mated to the 6-speed VTC transmission and all-wheel drive. This GT is painted in Ghost Grey Metallic, and features the Sports Appearance Package, which adds exclusive rims and a rear spoiler, as well as a sportier exhaust note. The GT does 0-60 in 7.5s, and can reach a top speed of 155mph. It also gets 31mpg city/32mpg hwy, and 32mpg combined.

Rounding out the Laguna lineup for 2008 is the Edition One, powered by a 2.8L V6 turbo making 315hp and 278lb-ft of torque, mated to the same 6-speed VTC and all-wheel drive system. This Edition One is painted in Smoke Blue Metallic, and features the Luxury Package, adding heated and cooled seats, a larger 7.2in infotainment display with GPS navigation, with full aniline leather interior. The Edition One is capable of 0-60 in 6.6s, and can reach a top speed of 155mph. The Edition One gets 29mpg city/30mpg hwy, and 31mpg combined.

The designing is slightly wonky, but the internals seem to fit a hot hatch instead of a premium? luxury? coupe apart from the V6. Also why is the license plate outside of the very obvious plate holder?

The rear plate wouldn’t fit how I wanted it to on the tailgate, so it’s in a seperate holder below it. (The front one isn’t great either but I couldn’t really think of a better place in the design to stick it) And as for the powertrains, they seemed adequate for a smaller luxury coupe like this, at least in my opinion anyways.

Understandable now for the powertrains, but for the license plate. You could’ve just moved the plate holder down or used a different fixture as a plate hold so it could fit and if you didn’t realize there is the conforming license pate that conforms to the body instead of being on the holder. It just ends up looking wonky when you put the license plate outside of it’s respective holder.

I didn’t even think to use the conforming variant lmao, that definitely would’ve worked better. Thank you for the advice!

StarRaider

Overview

The StarRaider is a brand-new model developed specifically for off-road use. It's ideal for customers seeking an alternative to our larger models, especially one with a reduced visual profile, sound signature, and greatly increased fuel economy. Its compact dimensions, short overhangs, and featherweight mass grant it superior handling characteristics on multiple types of surfaces. It features a space-frame chassis, long-travel fully independent suspension, MegaDrive 4x4 with manual lockers, 5-speed manual transmission, and a 660cc turbocharged engine.

Unlike other side-by-side off-road vehicles, the StarRaider retains a front mid-engine longitudinal layout, allowing for a conventional trunk design in addition to the open-top bed above it. With a payload of 770kg, the StarRaider can very well punch above its weight class. Front and rear pushbars come standard and are mounted directly to the chassis, allowing for obstacles to be safely pushed out of the way. A rollcage comes standard, providing superior rollover protection and also allowing for a canopy to be fixed over to protect against the elements.

Among the list of available options is an improved front bullbar from Comet-Bar Industries [ @That-S-cop ] which offers increased protection around the headlight areas, a skidplate, front-mounted tow hooks, and auxiliary lights for situations with especially poor visibility. Whether it's in the marshes, the tundras, the deserts, or war-torn streets, the StarRaider never fails to deliver outstanding performance.

StarCruiser Classic

Overview

The StarCruiser has reigned as our longest-running and longest-lasting model for over 50 decades. Its legendary status goes without saying, as many examples of all ages can be found across the globe still in regular use. The "IV Series" is no different, still retaining its ladder frame chassis and coil-sprung suspension for consistent heavy-duty performance on mud, sand, snow, and any other type of surface thrown at it. For those who seek ultimate dependability and unfaltering reliability anywhere and anytime, the StarCruiser is the number one choice.

With the 2005 facelift, it now comes with halogen headlamps and more standard features such as air conditioning and central locking. Our signature MegaDrive 4x4 system comes standard on all models with front and rear lockers, but rear-wheel drive with a viscous limited-slip differential can also be ordered if necessary. A six-speed manual with high and low ranges is the default transmission choice, and a five-speed automatic is also available. Independent front suspension can also be optioned, allowing increased comfort and more ground clearance than a traditional solid axle unit. Powertrain options include a naturally-aspirated 3.5L 4V I6 producing 222 hp and 226 ft*lb, or two heavy-duty turbocharged variants; one with 260 hp and 312 ft*lb, and the other with 290 hp and 343 ft*lb.

The StarCruiser is not a jack of all trades; it's a master of all. Besides a five-door "wagon" bodystyle, it can also be ordered in a five-door "carrier" configuration with up to 13 seats instead of the typical 5 or 8 and a taller roof for increased passenger space. As pictured above, single or double cab utility variants are also offered with heavy-duty springs for increased towing and hauling performance. Optional equipment includes front tow hooks, hood deflectors, bug shields, push bars, auxiliary lighting, and snorkels for whenever fording through water is required. However you spec it, the StarCruiser is a staple of emergency, police, and military organizations across the globe built for every task you throw at it.

StarCarry

Overview

The venerable StarCarry series of utility and passenger vans returns after a complete redesign in 2007. Unlike previous generations, it now features partial unibody construction for vastly improved safety while also reducing overall mass. The cab-over design is retained for optimal visibility and maneuverability in tight spaces, while also permitting easier engine accessibility from inside.

Its revised chassis results in a low, flat floor that facilitates accessibility and loading/unloading cargo compared to the StarCruiser, which sits higher off the ground. A sliding door on both sides and a massive rear tailgate provide increased access for all shapes and sizes of goods. A naturally-aspirated 2.5L 4V I4 making 144 hp and 162 lb*ft sends power through a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels, giving a fuel consumption of 27 mpg combined and hauling capabilities and longevity the StarCarry is renown for.

Like the StarCruiser, the StarCarry comes in numerous configurations to suit every need of every customer. The standard "Wagon" pictured above can comfortably and securely seat up to 15, while the "Convoy" panel van boasts an impressive payload of up to 1650kg and has a taller roof, allowing for more storage options. The "Rapid Response" ambulance configuration shown above has emergency lighting, an upgraded radio system, and an additional 125 Volt AC electrical system in addition to the standard 12 V DC electrical system to run supplementary medical equipment, which can come pre-installed or ordered separately. With a storied, proven record of longevity and capability, it's no wonder why the StarCarry is the number one choice for fleet and delivery companies.

2008 Hampton Harrier II SuperSport

This is the most extreme version of our current flagship sports car, the Harrier II. Powered by a tweaked version of our second-generation all-alloy V8, developing 550 horsepower and 407 foot-pounds of torque, sent to the rear wheels exclusively via a six-speed manual gearbox, it is primarily intended as a hardcore track-focused variant for those seeking the ultimate performance machine from the Hampton range.

To that end, we have fitted a lightweight interior, carbon-ceramic brakes, retuned suspension and forged alloy wheels, for a sportier, supercar-like feel without sacrificing too much comfort for daily use. The end result is a machine that can pull 1.14 g on a skidpad, scoot from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and top out at well over 200 mph given enough room. All this awesome performance sends out a clear warning to its rivals: Be afraid. Be very afraid.

The Harrier II 5.4 SuperSport is on sale now for $91,000 AMU. Please contact your nearest dealer for option availability and test drive inquiries.

Ok you beat us there.

Huangdou SJ is equipped with nothing. Literally not a thing. Offering no technology compared to any class of car. Nothing on the center control: connecting nothing enables nothing; the nothing, which promotes nothing; nothing enables music playing in the phone. At least we have that; moreover, nothing enables the contents displaying of nothing. Cruise Control: set the speed for specified distance, that’s right we have that too not only making your feet released but also keeping the engine a linear outputting, fuel-efficient as you demand. More than those Silfox ben ji dan tous.

Huangdou SJ premium model is outmatch Silfox brand due to reliability and sturdy construction. State own brand better than peasant private capitalist pig.

Sport model also provided with stiffer suspension and stronger tires for true driving dynamic unlike that fucking scam Silfox. Guangzhou superior. Can’t have shit in Jiangsu.

Innis

P.S. this car is pretty old and I haven’t had the motivation to write much on this anyways. The ChinaCarHistory-like version of this would honestly not be better but oh well the stars aligned and the years almost did so whatever.
