​I have taken it upon myself to organize some auto shows for next year since the two people who used to organise these are no longer active in the community. Hopefully a decent spread of vehicle types and enough time between each show.

I will put an individual thread for each auto show 14 days before it happens, to give ample time to post cars. All entries will need to be posted between then and the end date. I will also post information about what type of vehicle is needed for the particular auto show as some are specialist events.

“Geneva” in Qatar? WTF?

The actual Geneva show is in March, but I hope it’s not the last one there will ever be. And you seem to have forgotten about Detroit, New York and even Goodwood.

I haven’t forgotten about any shows, I went through several lists of what shows were on. New York and Goodwood happen in the same months as other shows so I couldn’t fit them in. Milan Monza is mainly Motorsport so fills some of the same niche as Goodwood. I also really liked the idea of the festival of the unexceptional which runs very closely to the timing of Goodwood.

I could fit Detroit in though as it’s 13-24 September which is currently an empty month. I also couldn’t really fit Japan in as it falls between Geneva and LA so I would have to lose both of them.
