What do you think about my first engine build ?
It makes 263 hp @ 5300 rmp and 313 ft*lbf @ 2500 rpm
Quite time consuming to build (290 man hours!) and not so eco. The efficency it’s lower than 20%.
You should be able to do better more with lower production time without big effort.
Ahh i see, can you give me some tips ?
Tips:
-Before you pull the quality sliders, make sure you use the best parts available in the respective section.
-There is no eco box in 2013 that doesn’t have direct injection.
-Economic efficiency starts from 24-25%.
Besides that, we need to check the engine file.
There is one economic aspect in your engine and its the peak power which comes early, at 5300rpm. Many people doesn’t think about this fuel saving factor, which doesn’t have a parameter.

This was a fun challenge, 285hp 300 torque on 28.49% economy AKI 86.4 regular gas for under 70 hours of work. I did use variable timing but not lift to save time and weight.
Not bad for a first effort, try and focus on tuning the motor first though before resorting to the sliders. You could definitely pull more out of that setup Keep at it
Loved that engine, Coni! Would you please post it here, so i can see its specs?
