Hey guys, this time i’d like to show you a 7.0 V8 like you would find it in a flagship, an upperclass saloon or something. It makes the same amount of power as a Corvette Z06 but is probably smoother, quieter, more economical and more reliable. Here it is: Royal 7.0Rev10.lua (38.5 KB)
They may not be able to sell lots of these though, since the engine will be around 7000$ or more to make one. it would be a small production engine ATM
That’s exactly what i was thinking when i designed that engine. There aren’t a lot of people that can afford an upperclass saloon, and of those that could, many would buy an S-class or maybe a BMW 7 series, so my car would be kinda exotic. So for the few units i’m probably going to sell this engine is not too expensive to make. And always remember: the thing you should NEVER save money on in car development is the engine. Only a good engine can make a car do what it’s supposed to do best.
In this case, price is not an issue because it is a luxury saloon for very few people, so those that can afford to buy it will receive premium quality.

That’s all good, as long as you don’t expect to sell to many. Could you get the same power out of a smaller engine? 7.0L is going to use a lot of gas!

Of course i could, but the point of this engine is to generate its power effortlessly, and that’s what it does. As you can see it makes over 85000km of MTBF and less than 300g/kWh so overall i think it’s not that bad ^^
Alright we will see in the next update what it costs, (Or if you will be even able to fit this bad boy into and engine bay). Best of luck to you! Just remember that larger engines with better efficiency is still using less gas then smaller engines with poor efficiency numbers. If your bruise is set to around 3000rpm that’s when your engine is most efficient
