Have you got laser vision or something VMO? Can you identify metal just by looking at it?
I reckon the US government might be ‘interested’ in you

Look at the shadow. You can see the orange adhesive that comes in the glued frame.
Is too expensive for a hatchback, and is limited production only.
I get what you’re saying, but maybe there is a reason for it. Idk, but its not “released” yet.
Limited production means just that you’ll have to put more effort into making each one, not a hard limit.
Ahhhh! Ok. Thanks!
A-WE-SO-ME!!!
My first thought…
We’re all soldiers now.
At last, the new Evgenis Pegasus has landed to finally re-invent and set a new standard when it comes to the luxury segment of automobiles. The new Pegasus stands by the existing motto and true ethos of the brand, “Premium, standard” allowing for all purchasers to fully experience an upmarket experience without having to fork out for extras.
DESIGN
New to 2018, Evgenis has experimented with a new, more variable exterior and interior design, with the new Pegasus being the first model to showcase this new design. All models from now will retain similar traits, but we intend for all cars to have their own characteristics, allowing the models to be distinguishable but undoubtedly Evgenis.
Bold design statements have been located around the entire exterior of the vehicles, with this car showcasing the bold new grille design, feature multiple chrome strips that integrate directly into the headlight design and cluster, as well as the statement Evgenis badge located in the heart. A lower grille system features a single chrome strip running through and connecting all elements.
At the rear of the vehicle, a new design for the light cluster integrates a further chrome strip running from one side to the other, with a bold new Evgenis badge in letters instead of the traditional logo. The lower section boasts integrated and functional exhaust outlets with a further chrome strip running over the top and integrating the rear reflectors and foglights.
The Pegasus comes standard with full-LED lighting, with no conventional bulb to be found anywhere on the exterior or even within the interior of the car. In 2018 we have truly focused on offering the best lighting on the market, with full startup and shutdown lighting sequences, sweeping indicators and automatic high-beam adjustment with ultra high beam allowing for up to 600 metres of visibility.
The interior continues the similar trends found on the exterior of clean and modern lines that run continuously around the vehicle.
As with previously offered models, the Evgenis offers many features as standard, but we still want to allow prospective purchasers the opportunity to configure their car to personal tastes, and we have offered the car with a choice of 15 colours, three roof designs and a multitude of alloy wheel designs ranging from 18 to 21 inches. This car also continues to be offered under the Evgenis Custom Collection, with it now being extended even further to truly open up the doors to offer not only the true customisability, but to the true limits of luxury motoring. This will, therefore, allow customers to choose custom colour choices and inscriptions, but also to employ our team to make something truly unique and personal to you.
ENGINES
The new Pegasus will be available with all engine choices across all markets, with two petrol engines and a diesel being available from launch, and further plug-in hybrid plus full electric versions coming in 2019/2020, as well as modifications to the current engines to run on compressed gas coming later this year. From launch, a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 and 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 petrol engines will be available, offering 300 and 400 bhp respectively, plus a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 diesel with 275 bhp.
For 2018, all engines will offer mild-hybrid technology, which not only help to improve engine efficiency, but also improve the performance of the engines substantially to make improvements to progress. The 48V system affects multiple areas of the vehicle, such as speed up the compressor to reduce turbo-lag, allow the engine to completely decouple and allow the car to coast, as well as disable the engine at higher speeds through the start stop system while predictively detecting when the engine will need to be reengaged thanks to the incredible technology available on this car.
All engines will be paired as standard with an improved version of the popular 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, which our highly experienced and knowledgeable engineers have tweaked to better suit the characteristics of this vehicle. Once more, the car will only be available with our highly popular AWD system to offer the most stability and traction as possible to ensure safe driving and an excellent ability to put all power to the road.
In terms of efficiency, thanks to the aforementioned mild-hybrid system and the latest generation of our engines we have been able to offer excellent fuel economy from all models in the range. The 3.0-litre V6 petrol is capable of real-world figures of 8.7l/100km (32.5 UK mpg/27 US mpg) involving all environments, or a very impressive 6.2l/100km (45.6 UK mpg/37.9 US mpg) cruising at 120 kph (75 mph). The 4.0-litre V8 petrol manages 9.6l/100 km (/29.4 UK mpg) in all environments or 6.4l/100 km (36.7 US mpg/44.1 UK mpg) at 120 kph (75 mph), which is unbeatable for such a high output, 8-cylinder engine. The diesel breaks a barrier no luxury vehicle has yet achieved with a sub-5l/100 km figure during motorway cruising, allowing for up to 2000 km of range with the 100l fuel tank.
TECHNOLOGY
We find that most manufacturers find that luxury is equivalent to offering abundant, optional technology, but we do not feel this way. We all know very well that the most luxurious things in life do not come lathered in technological features but instead offer the finest of materials or services. However, we do believe that offering the latest in technology on the most premium products doesn’t not make luxury but compliment it harmoniously to offer the best possible driving experience, as well as to offer a customisable experience with the car and offer the greatest possible safety to occupants. Evgenis has been worked very hard to improve on existing technologies as well as making it possible to introduce new technologies that no manufacturer currently offers. All of this is in part of our attempt to redefine luxury, as we feel there is no luxury vehicle that has balanced technology and luxury to offer the ultimate machine.
The Pegasus will be the first vehicle of this category to offer Level 3 autonomy from launch thanks to the continuous development of the technology over many years using multiple prototypes. The car features numerous sensors, radars, cameras and more in order to make instantaneous judgments in milliseconds and has been proven to be far safer than a human as the human error aspect has been completely removed. Of course, this is not full autonomy and human assistance may be required and hands must be kept on the wheel at all times in order for the system to remain active.
The autonomous functions extend even once you are outside of the vehicle, thanks to the new Evgenis Connect App for your mobile that will come as standard and for free from now on when you purchase any Evgenis vehicle. With the Pegasus you will find additional features, including the ability to park the car from outside of the vehicle, preempt the climate control system so the car is warm/cool upon entering and so much more, as well as allowing you to see key information relevant to the car.
In terms of safety, the Pegasus boasts anything and everything in terms of this technology, will multiple systems that prepare the car in the event of an imminent collision, including applying the brakes automatically, preparing the seatbelt pretensioners and calculating the ideal number and moment of firing the total of 11 airbags, as well as raising the car to help reduce the forces of impact. Additionally, the car comes with multiple systems that attempt to prevent an accident in the first place, with AEB capable of detecting cars, humans and even larger animals and can completely prevent a collision at up to 60 kph, and considerably reduce impact up to 150 kph. A full array of assists are available as standard with the car to make driving as safe as possible.
Camera technology is becoming key to all segments of the motoring industry nowadays, and the Pegasus takes this to the next level, with the car offering complete surround camera system to aid with driving and parking in the event that you do want to park the car yourself. The camera system is also always active and is capable of saving footage to the car as evidence in the event of a collision, which can then be seen on your Evgenis Connect App.
A very wide array of technology has been developed to improve the interior and driving experiences and will be included in the following sections.
INTERIOR
In luxury vehicles, the interior is the area of true focus. All luxury cars should be able to effortlessly and seamlessly blend comfort, design and technology to offer the true luxury experience, something that multiple brands have struggled with in one way or another. The Pegasus boasts all the latest technology, some of which unheard of until today, along with upmarket materials and logical design.
The central focus of all the brand new screens that run from one into the other, including the CDC (“configurable driver cockpit”) and main infotainment screen. Both boast large dimensions of 12.3” and a very high resolution far greater than any other vehicle at 2960 x 1440 pixels. The CDC controls most functions relating driving as well as the configuration of the cockpit design, which can allow for widescreen navigation or the economy display which focuses on showing you the energy saved thanks to the MHEV system and how to improve your driving to save fuel. All of this is controlled by a couple of touch-sensitive pads on the steering wheel which can also functions as buttons. The second display controls the relevant car and interior functions of the car, with a list far too long to mention all of its functions! On top of this, a full HUD is available as standard across the range which is once more configurable. All of these displays are controlled by powerful processors that will prevent any lag from occurring while using the displays.
Brand new to the Pegasus is a new pair of front and rear seats fitted with multiple sensors and zones, covered in fine nappa leather that will attempt to adjust the seat functions correctly dependent on the shape and weight of the body on the seat. This includes micro adjustments to the seat to improve comfort, a system that will send heating and cooling through the seats to the areas that need it the most, plus another that will calculate the areas and firmness of the massage dependent on the body type on the seat. A truly innovative system that will send comfort to the next level! All 4 seats in the vehicle are fully electric and adjustable in multiple zones, controlled by controls found on the door panel, allowing for all occupants to get as comfortable as they desire.
Interior materials are of the highest quality of the segment as we completely avoided the usage of plastic throughout the entire interior, meaning that no matter where you touch you will either find fine leather, woods, metals, glasses etc. that truly give the car a quality feel. Of course, these materials are completely configurable, with multiple different choices of leather in terms of feel and colour, several wood types and other inlay finishes to allow the car to truly reflect you and what you believe to be the luxury experience. To offer an even further level of luxury, the interior of the Pegasus can also be applied to the Evgenis Custom Collection, allowing you to employ the team once more to make the interior exactly what you want it to be if what you want isn’t on offer.
The Pegasus will come standard with 4G connectivity plus emergency callout, with the first being completely free for the first 3 years of ownership, although extensions packages can be purchased, and emergency callout being free for life.
To fully complete the luxury experience, we have worked hard on making the climate control system to use the cleanest and purest air possible thanks to filters within the system that completely clean out the air and remove contaminants prior to entering the cabin.
DRIVING
Evgenis continues the theme of offering you the best driving dynamics and comfort of any car in the category. With all luxury vehicles, the car should remain incredibly smooth and comfortable at all times, while maintaining controlled and composed handling, something we have made absolutely essential with the Pegasus.
The technology of this vehicle extends to the driving dynamics as well, the key element being the new, laser-controlled, suspension system that reads the road continuously up to 300 metres ahead, and preempts the suspension in order to deal with the bump as best as possible without disturbing the handling dynamics of the car and keeping the vehicle almost completely level at all times. Additionally, the car employs a completely active and configurable suspension setup, allowing the feel of the car to be ride and handling to be configured at a push of a button, therefore potentially converting the car from a silky-smooth cruiser, to firm, sporty bruiser.
The Pegasus is also the first car we have offered as standard with four wheel steering which works to help the maneuverability of the car at low speeds by turning the rear wheels up to six degrees in the opposite direction to aid with tight maneuvers and reduce the turning circle by over a metre, putting it line with far smaller vehicles. At higher speeds, the wheels the turn in the same direction as the front wheels in order to improve stability and handling of the vehicle.
Available in all markets in July 2018.
UK pricing starting from £79,995
EU pricing starting from €109,995
US pricing starting from $104,995
What a compelling luxury car this is… Will it be offered as a two-door coupe (which would look even better in my opinion)? Also, are there any plans to offer dedicated high-performance versions of the Pegasus? I’m sure the V8 could be easily tuned to make even more power.
More versions of the Pegasus are planned in the upcoming future, some that may surprise you…
That car is awesome!
just for that snide remark, i’ll make ANOTHER cliche teaser!
I think a certain German manufacturer would argue with that
