The entry-level trim of our new flagship luxury car, starting from $41,000 AMU.
The proposal put forward, development codename “Cinnamon”, is for something moderately downmarket of a true luxury car meant for affluent family buyers that want slightly more than just a high trim of a regular car. A car for this target segment should be within the engineering and manufacturing capabilities of the company and easier to market under the brand.
It uses an improved version of an engine and gearbox combination that was state of that art at the start of the decade. The powertrain has been updated to make it more reliable and easier to maintain to allow the car to effectively offer an alternative to a second hand luxury car with fewer problems for the owner. The platform itself uses an all steel body and relatively conventional suspension in order to avoid the need for too many dedicated production facilities and to keep tooling costs down for those that are needed.
The engine is still very smooth and quiet and the overall ride, driving and cruising experience are comfortable for the price. Performance is adequate, achieving 0-62 in under 8 seconds, having decent grip and enough driver assists to help an average driver handle it.
Target Price: 31,800 AMU
This totally-not-a Mitsumu Volantis facelift rebadge is a premium family sedan that does it all—comfortable, effortless, and packing enough grunt to yank the ham off your sandwich during hard acceleration.
Under the hood, you'll find half of a surgically bisected V12 from the 5.2 Volantis, now force-fed with a snail - and a turbocharger, of course. Easy to drive, but never boring, thanks it's advanced automatic gearbox paired to the rear wheels and a limited-slip differential. Engineered to the extreme for maximum reliability, so even if you forget once or twice an oil change, it won't break the bank.Any other submissions made after this message will be declined no matter how much you beg and beg. (except for @moroza if they decide to make a rebadged Al-Sayaadim) To everyone who participtated, thank you! Expect reviews out by next week, see you by then!
