A Few Questions on Game Specifics

Been following this game for a long time, finally pre-ordered it about 3 weeks ago and I must say, I’m enjoying it. It’s great!

I do have a couple questions regarding specifics of the game though. Perhaps some will be un answerable at this time.

  1. I’ve heard mention of AWD systems being implemented in the game, however will there just be 1 standard AWD system? Or will we have the options of Selectable 4X4 system, Full Time 4WD, AWD - with or without low range… etc? As as big fan of 4x4ing and Jeeps having a low range gear box system is pretty important to me.

  2. Is there any indication of what “body styles” of cars are going to be available in the game? I can understand if this is being kept under wraps, but have have yet to see anything like this being adressed other than “there will be multiple body styles”.
    In other words, what’s going to be available? SUV’s (2 door? 4 door? Different wheelbases? Convertible SUV’s?) Pickups (Quad cabs? Different box lengths?) Wagons? Hatchbacks? Sedans (What about suicide doors?) Coupes? How many different Coupe Styles? Will we be able to make everything from a 60s land yacht to an 80s Audi notch back? What about utes? (El Caminos/Rancheros/Pursuits?) Convertibles?

  3. I’ve been playing Detroit with a friend lately, and it’s kinda cool how you can improve luxury and whatnot. I’m interested as to how much customization we are going to have available to us in the luxury/safety/amenities department?

Thanks for baring with me, I’m super stoked for this game and I really think you guys have done a superb job so far. I tend to build really high expectations for games and I have no doubt that they will be met!

  1. Yes, all the styles of 4WD will be available.

  2. We’re not sure ourselves, but we’ll attempt to get as close as possible to covering every style of car that has been commonly made since 1946.

  3. Again, not completely sure as we’re not finished with that side of things, but there will at least be trim options, luxury features like A/V Gear, heated seats etc etc.
