A legendary legacy, Coupes! (Round two! subs open)

I’ve used the Mobula body in nearly every decade from the sixties up to the 2010’s and I can make it work lol.

It’s highly versatile.

I’m planning on using a variant of the '72 Moore as a basis for my next entry in the series - its angular aesthetic fits right in with the overall vibe of the 80s.

if you want to use a specific body, you can send it to me and i can clear it, we already did that for some 60’s bodies

The 1969 Lobo is a fierce embodiment of raw power and precision engineering, built for those who dare to push the limits. With a mid-engine layout, the Lobo offers perfect balance and handling, delivering an unparalleled driving experience. Under the hood, the 4.5L naturally aspirated V8 roars with 217.6 horsepower and 248.4 lb-ft of torque, ensuring that every press of the accelerator pushes you further into the realm of performance. The engine’s power delivery peaks at 4900 RPM, making the Lobo both agile and responsive on the road.

Designed for the adrenaline junkie, the Lobo’s aerodynamic, sleek exterior is paired with a lightweight steel monocoque chassis and double wishbone suspension, giving it superb handling while maintaining the perfect weight distribution. Its RWD setup and manual gearbox offer a true connection between car and driver, while the aggressive styling hints at the car’s personality—ruthless, unyielding, and always ready to strike.

Reaching a top speed of 141 mph and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, the Lobo is engineered to make a statement, whether on the open road or at the racetrack. With a fuel economy of 10.8 mpg, the Lobo is built for performance, not for compromise. This is a car for those who crave the thrill of driving and the power to back it up.

With a sleek design, mid-engine precision, and a punchy, high-revving V8, the Lobo is the perfect balance of style and muscle—fast, aggressive, and built to leave an unforgettable impression.

Gotta be honest, I don’t really see the point of restricting body age backwards, AFAIK the stats balance out pretty well and the game does tend to have bodies unlock early.

Bodies age out, and wouldn’t make sense in an era design challenge, you choose a body not matching the era. But to be fair as there will always be exceptions in real world, I’m open to discussion if someone wishes for a specific body for their car.

I don’t really see why you would restrict bodies backwards in age at all. There are amazing modern builds in the 1946 swinger body after all. If someone can make the car look new then let them by all means.

Specifically the mobula and the similar fiesta based sedan body looks fine for 80’s and even early 90’s

1962 Hexe Magdalena Mark I
A light sports car made for the ultimate pleasure of driving.

Lightweight fiberglass panels wrap around steel monocoque to create this sub 600 kg car. Under the hood there is a 1.6L Inline 4 engine making 78 kW. Enough to propel this car to 100 km/h in 7.5 sec. But it’s not about speed, it’s about driving pleasure and Magdalena Mark I is focused on that. 5-speed manual and RWD are all you need to relax driving around on twisty roads on Saturday afternoon.

Dalluha Coach & Motor Works presents the…

1963 Norðwagen Loki

(Grand Sport 12 trim shown)

Despite having nothing to do with the 1962 Prisman Missile Crisis, geopolitical realities in the fallout forced Dalluha to the wrong side of the Iron Curtain and the resulting economic sanctions, among which were a ban on western sales of Dalluhan cars, just a few short years after they started.

In 1963, to circumvent the embargo, Dalluha Coach & Motor Works (DCMW) formed its Hetvesian subsidiary Norðwagen, taking advantage of loopholes, obfuscation both sophisticated and crude, occasional high-level bribes, and Fruinia simultaneously being a go-between open to both east and west, and also highly disorganized. Though labeled “Made in Hetvesia”, it was an open secret that Norðwagen were Dalluhan-made, a confusing legal and political grey area that was not without its complications, whether caused by the western powers, or the elephant in the room - Archana.

Introduced in 1953, the DCMW Nashwar was never a large-volume seller, but served well as a halo car for its maker, helping broaden its appeal from the quintessential Executive Express - mostly large, heavy, softly-sprung barges that were fast in a straight line but nothing much in cornering. The Nashwar changed that, its combination of a lightweight, well-made body, sophisticated chassis tuning, and a high-output all-alloy V12 stuffed in the back quickly earning it a reputation as a formidable track performer.

While lower-spec models were later introduced, early models, despite the tuning quality, were quite overpowered for the tires of the day, and the Nashwar was considered tricky and demanding to drive. Therefore, when there arose a need for a Norðwagen rebadge, the obvious name was Loki, the Germanic trickster god.

Available in Touring, Grand Touring, Sport, Grand Sport, and a few special trims with mostly twelve-cylinder motors, this example is a mid-upper-ranked GS 12, with a <900kg aluminum monocoque propelled by a 300hp V12.

Founded in 1959 by a successful German entrepreneur disillusioned with the build quality of Italian GT coupes, GRIEF Automobilwerke set out to create the ultimate grand tourer. The company’s first model was powered by a refined and efficient 3.0-liter V12, offering exceptional performance paired with German precision.
