It’s not hard to meet, just kinda limits the options in price range, limiting in approaches a bit to certain things… (like turbo charging, or tech used…)
Ah ok, I will keep this in mind when making the phase 2 ruleset, myself I found no issue being uniqu
Would 25000$ be a reasonable cap?
Will interiors effect your style score? Or can we skip them?
I don’t think they will be required, let alone judged.
Wheres this at? Ive got everything else in spec but i dont know what this is.
Just add the production unit values for the engine and trim, and you’ll get the value you need - if it’s 87 or less, you’re good to go.
Good Lord, back to the drawing board. my trim is 86 and engine is 35 lol
The total should we visible on the little production effort popup window.
Hey I choice a car model but this have wheelbase exactly 2.4 meter as the rule said least 2.4 meter. Can I use this? Next same model but larger is 2.55 wheelbase which kind heavy.
That’s what I originally suggested
Maybe a soft cap of 21.5k but hard cap of 25k, if you pass the soft cap you lose some scores which you have to justify by making up for it in other areas.
Hey that is actually a really neat idea. I don’t think we can make that substantial of a change to this ruleset, but we can try that system in the next one. Thanks bud
Oh suuure, we don’t mind
too me, can you give me tips?
In general, make sure your quality sliders are reasonable, place your techpool in places with lots of quality, and pick reasonable parts
CBC Tanner SX '95
The CBC Tanner, being the budget choice for a fun practical car is a great choice. The SX Coupe trim, a RWD, inline 6 is a great choice and the base for various activities!
(This was a struggle to make, i wanted a better example but the rules kinda force a car on the budget.)
To anyone participating or thinking of participating, we would like to hear your feedback on the ruleset and brief. If you find the time and energy, please PM me with your feedback as to not clog up the (albeit dead) thread. Thanks!
If you updated the trim years to 1995 i’m sure it would be. Maybe give it a facelift too if you want.
You’re right. Specifically, it’s the trim year that must be set to 1995 (although the model year can be older than this):
