Hello, I would like to know if you plan on letting us morph the body, or at least the wheel arches, w/o having to remove the fixtures.
I understand that letting us morph the entire body when there are fixtures on might result in some issues, but after doing some tests by editing the Lua files, I was able to easily change the size of the wheel arches even though there were multiple fixtures on the car. More tests will be required to see if it’s 100% safe but I was wondering if you had any plans to implement this.
I also wonder if you plan on letting us change between different versions of the same body w/o having to remove the fixtures.
With Lua editing I was able to switch between different versions of 3 of the 4 bodies that currently have multiple version of them available.
For both '69 bodies it was very easy, since their shape is pretty much identical. Only issue, obviously, were the misaligned door handles after the switch.
The '85 hatch was a bit more complicated, mainly due to, AFAIK, the fact that the wagon is physically longer. Still, by using a utility to compare the things that changed depending on the body used, and by taking my time, I was able to switch from the hatch to the wagon with no visible issues. Even the tail lights were fine.
This would be a very cool thing as it would let us do multiple versions of the same car, like a 2dr and a 4dr, without having to completely redo the fixtures, which in some cases can take a bunch of time.
Sorry if those questions have already been answered, I tried searching but could not find anything.
