Cars with higher tops are more aerodynamic and weigh less.

I don’t think morphing affect aerodynamic properties, because it would require some form of advanced real time air flow simulation.
You can see in the screenshots that morphing changes coefficient of drag.

We wonder how it is done. Surely it does not do air flow simulation, does it?
There is no airflow simulation and we have not tied CD value to morphs. Size does change overall effective drag area though. Don’t know what is going on there
