OreoWorld studios are now taking in submissions for the lineup of police cars available in the game. Make the best overall police car, and you get to be the car in the game’s box art - aka the “halo” car. The rest of the entries will make it into the regular lineup - aka starter cars or mid-progression cars.
The cars will be judged based on 3 criteria, based on the top 3 most wanted racers. First is agility & cornering - the police (you) needs to trust the car’s ability in navigating dangerous canyon races or busy downtown city pursuits. Second is speed and acceleration - you need a car that can catch up to a race car in the middle of a race, and catch those using extreme amounts of nitrous in long stretches of highway. Thirdly, there have been a concerning amount of street racers who are actively “fighting back” by smashing police cars and competing amongst themselves to cause the most wreckage - you will need a car that is durable, reliable and safe.
You play as a police character (appearance customizable) who is part of Unit F8. You and a few other elite drivers are tasked with wiping out the illegal and dangerous street racing scene once and for all. You will do this by buying your own exotic supercar (or muscle or hypercar) from any era, and extensively upgrading it far beyond its original performance. You will have extensive resources and technology at your disposal to make a weapon that will be the ultimate street racer’s worst nightmare. Good luck and have fun.
Note: Liveries are NOT necessary, but if you wish to do it you can do so. Really good ones do add to the overall ‘aesthetic’. Otherwise, a full ‘undercover’ style car with pure matte black and some blue/red police LEDs would work well too.
The car needs to be FAST to be able to catch and outrun these notorious street racers before they can do anymore damage. Not just the sportiness stat, but will use acceleration, top speed, 1/4mi, 80-120, etc.
The car needs to be AGILE to deftly pass through traffic or notorious canyon roads or tiny country back roads. Will use cornering Gs, grip levels, drivability, weight, etc.
The car needs to be DURABLE enough to withstand aggressive driving from these heartless racers who CAN and WILL push you off a canyon or literally ram your car. Will use safety, reliability and weight stats.
We are making a game. We will use Automation’s 2020 year for engineering.

Firstly, we are making a game - realism isn’t the biggest priority here. With that said, please don’t minmax a particular stat. We want the best-looking and best designed cars with some solid and well-rounded engineering. The particular design and aesthetics of the car is open from the year 1990 to above, so you can make JDM cars with modernized internals for example, and can re-use cars from recent challenges, but we do prefer more modern ones!
Liveries are also not necessary and if you can’t do a good one, might as well go for the “undercover” police stealth matte black look tbh. Just be sure to have police lights or lightbar or some bumper bars.
We are however looking for modern supercars to fight these darn racers.
Additional note - please do NOT bother with interiors!
- Removed minimum techpool requirements for Turbo on NA engines. (you can set the ‘Turbo’ techpool to 0 if you have a naturally-aspirated engine)
