I dont use discord. If thats a deal breaker, its all good, ive got 5 other competitions going right now anyways.
yes
Would you consider adding inspirations to the post? I think it would help.
If you need any help from me with anything i am willing to do anything, seeing you are new. Just ask and i’ll help!
I added some inspiration. Thanks for offering help, I’ll reach out if needed
No price limit? Also 2L max displacement is too low, when you need like GT4 race cars, i recommend 3L
Yeah, that’s where I stumbled as well. 2L is fine for TCR, but then it should be any 2WD. Or GT4, but then it should be some form of BoP instead maybe?
I mean, the Audi GT4 runs a NA V10, and the M4 a TT I6 …
some kind of touring cars is also where i thought this was aiming, not the level of the inspirations
The inspirations are only meant to be for design, sorry for the confusion. These aren’t supposed to be GT4 cars either, something different. There isn’t a price limit because lower price is one of the criteria that submissions will be scored on.
So from the inspirations, the Toyota 86 and the Ginetta (if it is a G40, not a G55) are close to what you envision, engineering-wise?
Or, in other words, a GT5 challenge, but not with just Ginettas who invented (?) GT5?
The idea is make the best race car with the rules and priorities given. The inspirations are only for exterior design, not how you engineer your submission
This might be a dumb question, but should we give our cars liveries?
Not necessary, but you can make one if you want. The idea is that you’re selling to a racing team, who will make a livery based on sponsors they have.
thank you to those who have submitted cars
The 2024 Kojima Tsuno ITC3. A grocery getter turned racecar with an engine spun around 90 degrees that’s ready to tear up the track.
Is a base car required for submission or ad?
As far as I know, a base car is not required for an entry.
