Review Pt.2
Alfane RS - @kookie & @vero94773
Oh hey, the name of this proposal is one revival nameplate from the one of the Alfane’s wild experiment car from the 90’s which is rear-engined coupe and they proposed the same thing but modern! Glad it’s not turned into a crossover or SUV like others. Could make a great competitor to Bergwerks. And other great news is that it is rear-engined too! Still following the same formula as the old one.
The front of the car looks really great and cohesive yet still looks like it belongs in Alfane family. But there’s one small problem or nitpick from one of the executive is that they were hoping there’s some pattern in the main grille but it’s not that big kind of deal though.
Moving to the side, the shoulder line is really pronounced here but a bit too thick for their taste, in their opinion. But the side vent is great and the blacked out molding piece underneath it flows well with the car. Now the rear, all they said is just great. They love it every-inch of the rear and a nice red badge of “RS”.
This proposal does not include detailed or mock up interior.
With all great things on the rear, the tailights looks weird, they know the proposal wanted to give an illusion of 3D lights there but it looks weird and jarring when they looked to the side of the car which can be seen here :
With a few minutes of discussion about the car, the executives agreed on this to the next phase and moved on to the next car.
Alfane GT12 - @ldub0775
First thing they noticed for this proposal is the two toned paint which is a throwback to old supercars that used to have it but having a two tone luxury GT car in 2020 can work if it’s executed properly but this proposal just executed it not properly here. It just looks like it just slapped on.
But the front looks great especially the headlights. The shape of it is great but internals could work more than just 3 stripes. The grille shape is nice but it looks empty with any patterns in it, could work with angular patterns like hexagons and such. The hood looks really aggresive and the execs loves the bulging elements on it.
Moving to the side of the car, the shoulder line looks weirdly positioned here as it just goes downward instead of upward but the side vent makes a great illusion that it has big square rear arches.
This proposal includes a mockup of the interior :
Shiny interior wise, the proposal gave us a mockup of a big center console with small gauges slot. The executives gave it it like “Ehhh” on the interior as it just looks… boring. Also the biggest problem of this interior is that the seats and the amount of it.
I mean, what were they thinking about this seat design? Did they just rip out the seat from a 70’s American landyacht and stick it into this car? What a strange decision that they made. You also noticed that it has no backseats yet the name of the car is GT12. GT cars usually has 2+2 layout yet this doesn’t have one. The proposal did mentioned it is 2+2 but clearly it is not.
With some small chit chat and discussions later, the executive had to pass on this car as it didn’t met their expectations and they just went south when it comes to the interior.
Alfane GT by Spander Design - @Maxbombe
The big boss and his executives were really happy that Spander Design sent their proposal to them as they are well-known for making beautiful cars for decades prior. Excitement aside, the front of the car looks phenomenal and unique looking too yet it retains that Alfane’s look to it. It dared to be unique yet they succeeded it.
And moving to the hood of the car, the hood bulging is just nicely done and the molding near the windshield area is just really exquisite though the plastic material it uses made it looks cheap and was hoping it can be changed to piano block or others.
Moving to the side of the car. the transition from the front arch to the door is just nicely executed, giving it more aggressive side profile of the car. Though the side vent could sprinkle some decorations on it like a chrome bar or something to give it more prestigious looks on it.
On to the rear of the car, it managed to retain that elegance and such with how smooth molding it is on. But one of the execs complain that the tailight doesn’t match with the styling of the car, was hoping more edgy or sharpness on it. And for the diffuser, yes it looks elegent but it looks like it belongs on an econobox rather on a luxury GT like this. Was hoping more going on with the simple diffuser like fins and such.
This proposal includes a mockup of the interior :
The interior looks like it belongs in a spaceship with the theme and colour scheme on it. The execs love the screens on it, it reminds them a sci-fi spaceship with how are they designed and setup. Funnily enough, this one includes 6-speed manual which is a throwback or indicates to the old school GTs which they have manuals. Not the execs were mind of it, they love having a car that is unique and distinguish from other cars in the market.
Small discussions later, the execs agreed on this proposal to the next phase.
Zephorus LFX - @Riley
Huh, Zephorus literally send one of their car to us and nothing was changed. Maybe they asked for rebadge of this car? Which is a weird and unusual in a world of luxury GT cars. But maybe the execs were fine of this “rebadge” situation on looking depths into it.
As to be expected from Zephorus, they are known for having aggresive front-end and it shows here. Sure it looks aggresive and such but does it look like it belongs in Alfane family? Not really, it’s just a Zephorus. It looks like more like a hypercar rather than luxury GT with exposed intercooler on the grille. Yes it looks mean like we mentioned before but it scream luxury aura from it, though.
With aggresive front-end, the side profile is just lackluster, it doesn’t have any mold but instead of vents. Was hoping something is going on the side of the car instead just of blank slate. Moving to the back of the car, the tailights and the area around it just looks really good, they might steal this design for future Alfane line-up. With great tailights and such, the diffuser is just empty. With an aggresive looking car they were hoping for an aggresive diffuser but it can’t be found here, just an empty diffuser on it.
This proposal includes a fully designed interior :
Clearly this isn’t a mockup interior but a fully functioning one too. With how elegant and clean the interior is, it looks and feels luxury and high quality in here. They love the stiches on the front seats, it feels and looks luxury. The speedometer or the dashboard of it is really high tech and the design of it is quirky too. But the center console in this car looks really bare and nothing interesting happening other than the big vertical infotainment screen for the car.
As much nice and cool this car is, they’re not really interested to rebadge one of the Zephorus’s car.
Alfane GS by AVT - @EnCR
This proposal and Alfane Libération GT-12 proposal looks pretty similar. Not that it is a bad thing but moving on. The execs noticed the headlights looks like a mess with the shape applied on it. But other than that, they love the grille and it dipped inwards, gives an illusion that it is not flat. Though the position of the grille is a bit low.
Moving to the side, there is a pronounced shoulder line that is started from the the chromed side vent and chromed bar down there. Although it looks luxury and elegant but was hoping more side molding on the side like an illusion or molding wheel arche molding.
Moving to the back of the car, the tailights makes it look outdated with the shape of it. Not to mention that the lights looks round compared to sharp front-end which is clashing. The continuation of the chrome bar to the back is a nice touch and the diffuser may looks simple but it did the job one and perfect on a car like this.
This proposal does not include a mockup interior.
Discussions later, as much as some of the execs love this proposal they had to pass on it as there were more better proposal than this one and they didn’t feel it with this proposal.
Alfane Coupé - @Lazar
The execs’ first impression of this car is just how eye-catching the car is with that design. They love the front design of this car although the metal bars that is continuing from the bottom vents to upper fascia is really unnecessary but maybe it was there to fill the negative space there. They love the grille and the patterns in it and badge area, it just looks really classy alongside metal finishings on it.
Moving to the side of the car, they love the continuation of the metal bar from the front to the side of the car alongside the vent above it. The shoulder line mold on it is the same as Alfane GT12 which falls downward but here it is executed more better and perfectly blends in with the car.
Moving to the rear of the car, the execs instantly falls in love with the rear on how classy and beautifully designed. They love the simple tailights on it which fits nice with small headlights and how everything flows well on the rear. Other than the diffuser sticking out like a sore thumb, they just love how smooth the rear is.
Small chit chat later, the execs agreed on this proposal to the next phase and they call it a day for this session to prepping more points and such for the next phase on the next day for the accepted proposals from them.
