Alternative History Competition 01 - Performance Second Coming (RESULTS OUT)

Can you elaborate a little more about what you mean by “Let down by certain choices in engineering” for mine? I know I’m a bit behind in sportiness, but the brief seemed to imply that you could sorta pick sportiness or comfort. Not disagreeing with the placement, just a bit curious.

Look 19th i did hope for more ..but im learning and while I feel i made a step foward with this gen TigerShark especially on the styling..the lessons from thia car has moved me forward to a whole new process .. so im eagerly looking forward to the judging on the next three ive submitted… to see if im moving in the right direction…so this car was important to me …

Yeah, no worries. It was mostly (in my own eyes at least) the visual language leaning towards being the more sporty nature with the angular design and then the choices such as the open differentials, ultra luxury interior and progressive springs do lean more into the premium and luxury markets. Plus, while it didn’t mention it there was also some other stats such as drivability that were more mid pack, though it did have a big lead for Prestige.

Hopefully that isn’t too unfair. It’s absolutely not a bad car by any stretch but I think there were some that just were more aligned with what I had in my head with the prompt.

11th place, not too bad. Can’t exactly say I’m surprised by that ranking.

And hey, at least you got the results of the challenge out, I do really like the concept of this type of challenge.

Despite my ranking, I had a lot of fun with this challenge. It spawned the concept in this challenge, which in turn I was able to use as a new model in another challenge..which also did poorly, but I still had fun nonetheless. Thankyou sir.

Anyone mind if I take this concept and run round 2? I’ve got a fun little idea.

If no one else has any objections. I had hoped to see this continue as a semi-regular series.
