AMT Dynamic was founded in 1978 just outside Concord, New Hampshire under AMT by a group of unnamed affiliates. AMT Began with the Off-Road and utility markets, mainly for Industrial and Farm use.
The first AMT Truck was the original A-Series. With two different Pick-up models, and one SUV-style model.
AMT would re-brand itself in the early 2000’s into AMT Dynamics.
This is my first Utility-centric brand, so don’t be too hard pls
Each AMT A-Body is powered by a 5.5L V8 with the 500 making 370hp and the 750 making 390hp. The A-Body series of trucks were produced without update from 1979 to 1985.
The 1984 Pelican van was sold internationally with great sales, With most coming from asia. The Pelican is powered by a 1L i3 engine, to save on space and weight. Production lasted from 1985 until 1991 without visual update.
Not exactly. The straight-three in the Pelican could simply have been poorly optimized and not fitted with modern electronic fuel injection. At least it’s more economical than the earlier AMT A-body.
And @Deskyx I was just trying to provide a more rational, sensible explanation.
The Dove was a temporary solution to the replacement of the A-Body. However, it was not a true replacement, being less than half the size of the A-body, and much less usable in The States. Therefore, the Dove was much more popular in Asia and certain places in Central Europe. The Dove was sent to Russia, and East Germany to be made under license. The Dove was seen as a mess of a vehicle, with little good points, causing it a large fail within the United states. This failure within the States caused the AMT COO to relocate the Headquarters away, to a rather unknown nation called Arzami (History coming soon [and will be the basis for a new large company]).
