Archon Imperial Commercial & Sport Automotive

Welcome to Archon, Cassus’ very own vehicle manufactory. Here, we make cars for everyman, and by ‘everyman’, we meant literally everyone, from a homeless bum to first world country reptile overlord. We also make tanks!..which will be important later on.

Our not so little company wasn’t always called Archon. We didn’t even begin with little factory located in someone’s backyard. We were THE Imperial Manufactory of Cassus. Begins in 1809, the Manufactory originally produces steam engine until some guy got a bright idea and put one of the engine onto a cart. It moved…very slowly. The idea never kicked off at the time but it does gave some idea about the manufactory’s capability. After the introduction of internal combustion engine, The Imperial Manufactory begins producing automobile mostly for the military for the war effort. After the end of the Second Great War, the Dominion’s economy has become slowly but steadily on the rise, and, by the wish of Empress Elvacil Coldwell, one part of the Imperial Manufactory was to be renamed into Archon Imperial Automobile Manufactory to create a recognizable brand that can be export outside of The Dominion.

Now, onto to what we actually made and making…We mostly make generic cars, so generic that we wouldn’t blame you if you think they’re just GTA-rejects. Oh, and we also have a worryingly frequent streak about making high-performance sport cars…

Also, our factories are off-limit due to a history with sabotage. Violator will be shot. Survivor will be “volenteer” into crash test program. And survivor of said crash test program will be run over by main battle tank while they’re locked inside a car.

1940 IM/Archon Cavalcade

The mostly repurposed military car

The Cavalcade was originally designed as a roofed light utility vehicle for the Army. It was rugged, roomy, and surprisingly quick on its feets back in the day, especially for a 4x4 vehicle. It is vital to the Dominion of Cassus’ army during the war, whether as a supply vehicle, troop transport, or even an ambulance. After the war, many surplus Cavalcade were sold as civilian car under the rebranded Imperial Manufactory, now Archon, as an affordable utility car for multitude of purposes. And that’s just the beginning of our affilation with creating SUV…

And now for something a bit more street-worthy…
Archon Civilian Type 1 (1946-1949)

Well, would you look at that, it’s the “Every '40s subcompact ever”…

What’s this? Do you think Archon will make a supreme luxury car to celebrate its foundation? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? As you know, Archon was found just after a war. A really big war. The dominion’s economy might just starting to recover but then it’s still very fragile. And there’s bunch of brave soldier lads and lasses going home with pretty much little in their pocket. So of course, we had to make the cheapest, most practical car imaginable, so that anyone with atleast a decent chunk in their pocket can buy and possibly use it as an emergency home when things went south…possibly toward Columbia. And a lot of Civvies’ still lying around in many of Columbia’s junkyard to this day…but hey, a Civvie Type 1 in good condition is still got a fanclub and buying markets.

Archon Citizen Type 1 (1950-1959)

Middle of the road.

Ah, the '50s, the era of baby booming, people waving nukes at eachother, and of course, the start of the golden age of automotive…we think. Economy has recovered, and people start to own enough money to buy stuffs again. But then again, most people want nothing too luxurious. And we, at Archon, listened.

The Citizen is nothing too flashy but is also comfy enough for hard-working middle class of the era. Leather seats, AM radio, and a bit noisy air conditioning. The engine is definitely not going to go toe-to-toe against something like a 5-litre gas-guzzling landyacht on straight line, but this thing is sure as hell is not going to need to go refuel at the gas station as often…barely, anyway

Price (1950, adjusted for inflation rate): $25,900

Now, back to the present

Archon Leshen (2015-Present)

A moderately warm hatch.

Well, what else can you say about a subcompact hatchback in 21st century? They’re everywhere and the competitions are as fierce as a Nilfgaardian Bloodhound. So of course we jumped into the competition, we’ve been making stuffs like this, making subcompact cars, before your daddy was even born! So comes the Leshen in 2015, a turbo-powered city hatch that’s moderately faster than most of its competitors and sips no more fuel to boot, and a good look to match.

Specs & performance

Price: $24,900
Fuel type: 95 RON unleaded
Fuel efficiency: 23.4 km/L

Archon Minstrel (2018-Present)

Middle of the road, 2018 edition.

The Minstrel is a successful series of mid-range sedan that replaced the Citizen line since 1977. This latest incarnation of our sedan series is just as competitive as ever, with the best applications and safety features a car on this range can have thrown in, though having a diesel engine would be nice, Automation.

Specs & performance

Price: $33,900
Fuel type: 95 RON unleaded
Fuel efficiency: 20.3 km/L

Looks nice but there are some issues with it. For one, those fancy aluminum panels conceal a basic steel chassis with no rust protection - I would suggest a galvanized steel chassis at least. Also, the car seems to have quite a lot of body roll. It is economical, though, so at least it has some merit.

Righto, rust-proofing it is, though the roll angle is probably here to stay

Archon Noreaster Type 1 (1950-1965)

Archon sport line’s not-so-humble beginning.

The Noreaster is the first ever sport car ever produced and designed by us. It was gonna happen sooner or later anyway so might as well do it in 1950, right? This convertible sport coupe got little to boast about compared to its competitors, most of whom have given a headstart on making a sport car. So what the fuss is about this thing then? Well, it’s doing what people expected it to do from a sport car. It’s not superb but not horrible either. The price range is acceptable. And even though looks are subjective but we sure as hell that there are worse-looking cars out there…

Archon Aerondight (1951)

You must me THAT rich to drive.

Just one year after Archon released their first sport car, the designing team of Archon got their first taste of blood and money from designing a sport car and decided to skip over a few dozens steps and make the most sophisticated, fastest, most expensive car of the decade, despite being barely even one year in the '50s…And so the Aerondight was born…barely. Most of the car is completely handmade. Hidden beneath the sleek and minimalistic streamline design is one of the most complicated design and engineering of the century that we had to borrow a team and factory from another manufacturor that specialized in handmade works. Only 20 '51 Aerondight were built, most notable owners is Duke of Lamport and the Sultan of Ebedin.

All grown-up sport convertible

Welcome back to the present. This Noreaster is no longer the car that you see parking outside retirement home. This is the car of the futuuuuure. cough Anyway, this latest incarnation of our first sport car is packed with techs. The thing is probably one of the most hi-tech car we have to date. You have to testdrive one of these badboys to believe. Unless you don’t like techy stuffs. In that case, do yourself a favor, get a Caterham instead, and stop complaining to us.

Take charge.

Archon has been making SUV since it was cool, so of course we can safely say that our line of SUV is second to none in term of both quality and quantity. Don’t believe it? Well, take a look around, or better, take a look inside…The Centurion might not be the most expensive in our lineup, but you will wish to know more about the rest when you sit inside the Centurion’s comfy ergonomic seat with high grade interior works and easy to navigate console panel. Hell, maybe you might fall in love at first sight with look of the car from the outside itself. Okay, first of all, why is this thing doesn’t looks like the rest of Archon’s modern lineup? FASHION, THAT’S WHY. Second of all, what exactly is this thing? Obviously, it’s a compact 3-door SUV, made specifically for off-road driving. It comes from one of our earliest line of SUV. It’s seriously affordable. The overall performance and efficiency is no slouch either. And it sure as hell doing its job pretty well. It’s also surprisingly spacey enough that you don’t have to choose between carrying people or their belongings, cough unlike the other similar mini SUV. cough That’s all to it, really.

Archon Cerys (2009 - 2016)

Don’t let your kid near it.

Archon Cerys is a brand new series of front-wheel drive, high-revving, naturally aspirated micro sport car.

…Wait a minute, did you said…front-wheel drive?

OF COURSE. The main goal is to making a sport car that is light, small, easy to drive, efficient, and reasonably fast to boot. Emphasis on the ‘easy to drive’ part by giving it FWD, and there, you got the Cerys. Even kids can drive it!..and that’s why they should stay the hell away from it. We will not be responsible for any accident involving child driving a car.

But don’t mistake its value for weakness, the Excella is made in our high-standard production line with highest grade materials a factory machine can make. Also this thing is just $8k more expensive to make than the Centurion, holy sh*t

Archon Aerondight (2019)

The Sword of Lancelot

The Aerondight is, simply put, the fastest, most powerful, most expensive weapon we have on our automotive arsenal. True to its predecessor, most of the car was handcrafted, although we also use complex machinery and laser craftwork to manufacture the Aerondight with great precision. With over 1,000 horsepower thrusting this sword to over 255 mph, the Aerondight with cut through anything on the road short of a Bugatti…But don’t go speeding so much on the street, an accident would be a major waste of a beautiful car…and life, of course.

Archon Provincial (2018 - Present)

So here comes the Provincial, one of our many long-running automobile series. Guarantee soft, responsive yet surprising agile driving experience while also got a pretty nice mileage per tank to boot. And it got a sunroof too, just so you know.

Archon Chort (2016 - Present)

Big truck, small gas bill.

First thing first, we usually don’t make pickup trucks. SUV is one thing. Main battle tank is another thing. But a pickup truck? Well, as market demands, we’ll have to make one eventually, we make everything afterall.

Now, when you see a big, bad pickup truck, your first thought would probably be it has big engine and even bigger gas bill. Well, you’re only half right for the Chort. It has a relatively big engine of 3.5 L, true, but it also has our latest techs stuffed into it to create a seriously efficient engine possible. You’re not buying JUST another truck here, you’re buying the future, a mid-size pickup truck that will raise the bar higher in term of efficiency.

Specs & performance

Price: $42,900
Fuel type: 95 RON unleaded

Be advised, both the Archon Leshen and Minstrel will receive a slight revise to adjust the apperance to be in line with other modern Archon vehicles.
