I’m getting my submission ready as well. Need to test the integrity in BeamNG first
It’s admirable, but keep in mind that I will not be exporting and testing the cars in BeamNG as a judging factor
I know that… This is for me
I gotta wrap up some engineering and double-check my math against your charts there, but here’s what I got:
The stock Eldorado was a fine start for its era, but FST engineers got their hands on a fresh V10 and stuffed it in. We retained the front-drive components and augmented with AWD, a common trait in FST projects. The body relies on the stock metal in most sections, but pieces were re-formed and a great deal was trimmed down. The front and back fascias were redone completely with new fiber molds and are incredibly aerodynamic. We chose a liquid metallic black paint job, with a flat black roof. The interior has been completely re-worked, with plush leather seats and a new flat-panel dash. The mirrors have been shaved and replaced with cameras which display the view on the center screen as needed. This is quite literally not your father’s Cadillac. It, my friend, is yours, and it is one-of-a-kind.
I cant seem to import the car. It says the mod body is missing. Which body is it?
There is no mod body in use for the car, however you might be seeing an error that is telling you some mod fixtures are missing.
Are you on the Opt-In Beta? The body, and challenge, is only available there.
The current stable release (LCV4.1 or UE4.24) is not used for forum challenges anymore because of the vast amount of new features in the Opt-In Beta.
Alright, since I haven’t received any .car files yet, here’s another clarification.
Changing family quality on the base engine is changing an engine family parameter not covered under head swaps, and thus counts as a full engine swap. Yes, if you want to save the $5000, you have to deal with shitty quality. The OP will be updated.
First I thought - asked and answered already - but then I realized that I asked that on Discord. Good reminder to transcribe some of that stuff to the thread
Nothing beats a Classic Cadillac.
No car can give off the same imposing presence, can put out the same impression of power, as a boxy Cadillac. There’s just some quality about these luxury liners that makes them stand right out and look just right wherever you bring them.
We thank you, Mr. Young, for inquiring about how we could modernize your Eldorado, and now we’re ready to present our proposal. We’ve done our best to preserve what the car is -you’ll notice we’ve managed to keep the exterior looks almost completely unchanged (save one detail we’ll get to later)- but underneath, you’ll find a car upgraded beyond the standards of the day, something more comfortable and advanced than else anything you’ll see on the road.
And it’s still Dad’s Eldorado.
In-depth showcase
The classic V8 is still here, but the 40 years of age are gone. The formerly-terrible HT4100 has been stuffed with modern computer and fuel injection technology, and that iconic rumble now puts out 277 lb-ft of torque and 234 hp; No more “sluggishness” here! Passing through a new 7-speed overdrive transmission, that power then makes it onto the road with the help of wider, grippier tires that keep you planted in any conditions.
You’ve probably already seen the second set of doors by now; not only do they make the car seem even larger and more imposing (not to mention unique), but they make the interior seats more accessible and inviting to your guests; and when you see this interior, you’ll wanna invite people in. With all that we’ve stuffed in here, (the highest quality materials on the market, recliner bucket chairs, individual touchscreens for all 4 seats, extensive sound insulation, a drinks cooler, an advanced Heads-Up Display, 21 individual radio speakers w/ subwoofer, etc), this old Cadillac could put a Bentley to shame!
A flow-optimized undertray and built-in grill flaps serve to lower this car’s drag coefficient. Our top-of-the-line safety features will keep you alive in any accident, assuming our ESC doesn’t prevent it in the first place. And our active suspension is always automatically perfect for the occasion. And best of all, you’ll probably never notice these components do their work.
Comfortable, presentable, and with no expense spared.
It’s an old Cadillac alright; the old Cadillac of the future.

-Generic Tuning Company With A Very Long Name That Isn’t Just Long Because I Couldn’t Be Bothered To Make Up A Proper One Because Of Course Not Silly That Would Be Weird No This Is A Perfectly Normal And Professional Name For A Company To Have I Think It’s Basque Or Something But Don’t Quote Me On That Because I’m Not A Professional Linguist.
I’m a lot lost on this stipulation/requirement
“Maximum price (as shown in the Testing tab, Markets section): $62,000”
So I know my approximate cost, but where do we find this maximum price in Markets?
It means the Approximate Cost stat. I said ‘maximum’ because I don’t want you going over it lol
OK but bear in mind the cost section is in the Detail Stats sub-tab.
Huh, right you are. The wording is an ARM11 holdover; Was it different in 4.1 or did nobody call me out on it back then?
I think it was shown in both tabs in 4.1?
yeah don’t sweat it, I just didn’t want to bin my hard work over a discrepancy that we could easily address.
Edit Oh hey btw my Automation stat tracking project is going well. There’s 21 cars entered, 77 data points per car, for a total of 1,638 data point so far. I’ve color-coded most of the chart for easy comparison.
More are always welcome, just dm me the .car file and I’ll post it up. Automation Stat-Tracker - Google Sheets
Presenting the Bespoke Aurum. Comfort at all costs. A small, efficient V12 with impeccable smoothness. Luxury hand-made seats. Buttery soft suspension… It’s not a performance car. It’s a yacht.
Rebirth Restorations proudly presents:
CADILLAC SOUL
Imposing style, brought up to modern standards. Our restomod project for this Cadillac Eldorado, dubbed Soul, has been exstensively reworked both on the inside and the oustide, maintaining the elegance and luxury vibe that the original design imposed.
The HT4100 has been given a new lease of life, with an all-new valvetrain and direct injection, now producing 333hp. Now this car is able to achieve up to 250 kph, making it a proper luxury sportscar.
The transformation doesn’t end there, as the interior has been completely renovated with a modern arts & science style, blending traditional materials and modern equipment.
All this is just a mere selection of the vast amounts of improvements that this vehicle has received. We will be waiting for Bill’s answer with high expectations.
Where are the Cadillac emblems?
This mod.
