328 GTBi Revo by LVC
A subtly enhanced version of the original 308, enhanced with modern engineering.
With its engine bored out to 3.2L and sending 400bhp to the rear wheels via a 6-speed close-ratio manual gearbox and helical LSD, the 328 Revo is far faster in a straight line than the original. And thanks to staggered high-performance tires (225mm front/255mm rear), large vented disc brakes (4-piston 335mm front/2-piston 315mm rear), and a manually adjustable suspension kit, its cornering and braking abilities have been brought up to modern-day standards.
Extra-cost options include a remanufactured 3.2L 32v alu/silicon V8 w/VVT (for intake and exhaust valves) and individual throttle body multi-port injection ($2000), body/aero kit w/front and rear spoilers + wheel arch flares ($1500), galvanized steel chassis ($2000), and aluminum body panels ($1500). This example is finished in Blu Tour De France with 18-inch 5-spoke forged aluminum wheels, available in a variety of colors and designs (such as the Oro Chiaro shown here). In addition, the outdated exterior lighting system has been replaced with an all-LED setup.
The interior is finished in lightweight alcantara and incorporates a premium infotainment system with a touchscreen - although physical knobs and buttons are present as a fail-safe.
To preserve the donor car’s analog feel, the unassisted steering has remained untouched, but traction control and ABS have been added for ease of use. Even so, it remains faster, nimbler, cleaner than the original, without being too fast for the road - and at an all-up price of $45k AMU (including options).
