how do i hide GUI in photo room, so that i can share it in Steam?

If you mean to hide it to take a Steam screenshot rather than using the standard screenshot feature, press F10.
I’ve known for years about the F10 keyboard shortcut to show/hide the photomode GUI - once it’s hidden, just press F12 to take a Steam screenshot, then press F10 to bring up the GUI again if you need to.
