#Round 2: BMW M3 E92 on Nordschleife
- Stock trim (driving the other trims won’t really make you faster anyway)
- Hotlap of Nordschleife course, not Touristenfahrten, not Endurance
- Damage 100%
- Tyre wear 100%
- Tyre warmers off
- 25C ambient temperature
- Course quality optimal
- Whichever time of day and weather you feel is best for you
- Unlimited attempts allowed (this means if you beat my time, I’ll try harder ;))
This time I would like to propose two tiers of contest:
##Easy Tier
- Can use semislicks
- TC and ESC allowed
- HUD and racing line allowed
- If your lap is penalised I will still allow it (it’s very easy to run off the course here)
##Hard Tier
- Street tyres only
- No TC or ESC (but ABS ok for mouse/keyboard users)
- No HUD or racing line
- Only valid laps counted
Your target time is 8:27.791 (FYI on semislicks I can turn in 8:14 with mouse.)

Porsche DLC is highly recommended. 919 2016 and the 911 GT3 are amazing. It also has the 917 and Cayman GT4 and much more, so… worth it.
And @strop can you link to the spreadsheet in OP so we have a place to record all times?
Sure. Do you want to wipe the times from the sheet and record them elsewhere, or just make more sheets?
I’ll just keep duplicating sheets for each round and fill them out in the same workbook, I guess

Also yeah, throttle feed-in is important in this car.
orrrrrrrrrrrrrr you could just twiddle with the alignment settings and still use the mouse because you can’t be fucked to get the wheel out 
8:16.291 for those who can’t be bothered waiting for the screenshot to load.
In this case I increased negative camber on the rear, and reduced the toe-in slightly. This is so the rears were less prone to oversteer characteristic, plus I wanted to reduce the rate of temperature rise. And I actually attempted to drive cleanly. There was hardly any opposite lock in this run! you see, I was actually kind of taking it a bit easy because otherwise it might be a bit harsh on the less experienced players but then you had to go and beat my time. Definitely internet cookie for you if you come back and beat this time… then I’ll actually have to get the bloody wheel out.

@strop could you please specify what you mean by no HUD allowed?
Late in my video I explain that I like immersion, so I turn all the widgets off. This means you technically can only see what you’d normally see when actually driving in real life. To be honest it’s probably a bit too much so I don’t really care if you do use it. It makes pretty much zero difference to me because I know all the braking points and lines in Nordschleife, at least in AC.
You can turn all the HUD stuff on and off using Ctrl + H.

If I’m racing an F1 or racing car or hypercar I often find myself playing with KERS, DRS, turbo, brake balance while driving.
