Atomic's Builds and Things

Welcome to Atomic’s Builds and Things!

After seeing a bunch of similar threads and playing well over 4000 hours of my life in the game, I decided to start one of my own.

Here, I’ll post not only the cars and other builds I make, but ads, specsheets and other fun things as well.

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated!

Brands (Subject to Change)

-Empire (1955-Present): The ultra-luxury division of Skyhawk to compete with the likes of Cadillac, Imperial and Lincoln/ Continental. Now makes only SUVs with the exception of one fullsized sedan.

-Skyhawk (1927-Present): Born from the ashes of Senator (1884-1926), makes premium cars to rival Chrysler/ DeSoto, Mercury and Oldsmobile/ Buick. The Canadian company prides itself with technological innovations and bulletproof vehicles.

-Rosemont (1911-1991): Initially made under the ownership of Senator, transferred to Skyhawk and best-known for making slightly upbadged standard cars with a sporting flavour, mainly competes with Pontiac and Dodge.

-Quicksilver (1934-Present): A response to the Great Depression and the need for cheaper cars in Skyhawk’s lineup. Dabbled in a bit of everything but now mainly makes crossovers and SUVs.

-Skyhawk Recreational (1937-Present): The Motorhome, Camper and Travel Trailer division.

-Atlantic (1904-Present): Skyhawk’s Trucking and Marine Division that can’t help but shove massive and outrageous engines into Skyhawk’s trucks and motorhomes.

-Harada (1951-Present): Generic Japanese company, mostly influenced by Mitsubishi and Lexus/Toyota, purchased by Skyhawk in 1971.

-Vallière (1909-Present): Typical quirky French company, mostly invested in executive sedans and the occasional sports cars. Bought by Senator in 1926.

-Sutherland (1906-Present): A fine British company that rivals Rolls-Royce but is typically a bit more unconventional and “americanized” due to Skyhawk ownership and influence. Also makes GTs and an early adopter of the luxury SUV. Bought by Skyhawk in 1953.

The quintessential 1970s motorhome. Enough said.

My preferred spec for the '90 Safari would’ve been an XLE 4.2 Executive in Emeraude Vert (for both the interior and exterior) with advanced digital gauges and the Cold Climate Package. If that fetching shade of dark green (as seen in the brochure) wasn’t available, though, I’d order Rouge Vin or Soutterain Bleu in its place - and in each of those cases, I’d have ordered a color-coded interior.

Simply amazing. One of the best (and most dramatic) '86 Rosso-based builds out there, period.
