How the Championship Works & Championship Rules

Championship Rules

Background to the Round

Each country will be split into different teams, where people will work together with those from the same nation on the entry to represent that country. If there are some countries with only 1 person, we will allow for partnerships between “local” countries if wanted. Also, if more than 5 people want to represent a country, we will encourage splits into different parts of the country (e.g. different states of America).

To enter, please send your flag into the #nations-challenge channel, and you’ll be added to your countries team channel.

Here is a list of all the entrants into any round of the championship so far. A lot of these members may have left the server, or may no longer be active, however it allows you to try and find and encourage people from your nation for you to work with. Please also feel free to invite others from different automation/beam servers if you are trying to look for someone else from your country to work with.

We are re-running an old round, with slight minor updates for this event. The challenge is used sports wagons/sedans, where the trick will be balancing speed, practicality and comfort of your car as best as possible.

Aesthetics Brief

The goal is to make sporty but practical family cars. Some inspiration could be the Audi RS2, Subaru Impreza WRX STi or the BMW M3.

Does the maximum price (for any given combination of era and condition) refer to the approximate price as shown in the markets section of the summary tab?

Also, the quality slider limits apply to each individual slider if I am not mistaken.

On top of that, must the catalytic converter be a three-way unit? At any rate, it’s use will require unleaded fuel - but what type(s) exactly?

Yeah maximum price is the approximate cost.

The sliders apply to all the sliders throughout the car. So if the limits are -2 to 1, then you can have any of the sliders at -2, -1, 0 or 1.

The catalytic converter doesn’t have to be a three-way unit, it can be any option. In terms of fuel, you can use whatever you want, however, since we are scoring markets, it would be wise to make sure your selection has high availability, as some higher octane fuels have market penalties.
