Automation Original Soundtrack

With the public release of version B1323 we have implemented the Automation Original Soundtrack into the game!
It has been in the works for about a year and has been quite a ride to see it progress from first drafts to a finished
collection of music to fit the game. For a little overview and commentary about it, you can check out the YouTube

It was composed by Michael Trott from Pinstripe Audio, who is just as indie as we are. It was his first project of
this size and he has done an amazing job. If you like what you hear in the game, please consider supporting him.

All tracks are available here on iTunes and Bandcamp.


For those of you who preordered the turbocharged, silver, gold or platinum edition of the game, you find your
download link in your User Control Panel here on the forums. Please tell us what you think about it! Which are
your favorite tracks? Do you think the music fits the game? Which artists do these remind you of?

Brilliant - Downloaded and loaded onto memory stick ready to play in the car on my daily commute :smiley:
The second best place to hear it, the 1st being while playing automation of course.

Well for me itā€™s having none of it, I think itā€™s due to an incomplete download as I have two copies of the .zip, one is 174 Mb, while the other is 203 Mb. Heaven knows how I fix this. :frowning:

My download was 243mb so it looks like youā€™re not get the full file
Daft question but have you deleted the previous attempts before trying again.

Me too ! It stops dowloading at somewhat 200 Mb and the archive gets brokenā€¦

Iā€™ve tried both, not deleting the old file and deleting the old file, neither work.

Same here, it just stopped downloading before the whole lot was downloaded.

Iā€™ve somehow managed to get it to download!
All I did was watch the download bar like a hawk, taunting it, until it had finished, and it worked!
Now I can listen to the OST whilst out and about and feel epic :smiley:

Edit: 2010 (Endgame) is awesome, well done Michael!

it seems like i cant get the full download as well, been trying a couple of times with various effects ranging from 50meg to the last 241meg.

the last one was big enough however to be able to ā€œrepairā€ it. dont know what i am missing tough. shall try again

Oh and by the way, I also liked the old ā€˜betaā€™ soundtrack. Will it be downloadable as well?

I like it! Thereā€™s a song that remind me of 18 Wheels of Steel, which is a plus since I liked that game. Iā€™ll edit this when Iā€™ve listened to them all to list my favorites, not-so-favorites, etc. :slight_smile:

I second that. As much as I like the new soundtrack, Iā€™d like to be able to listen to the old one too :slight_smile:

Also you can hear it by watching the Motor Trend Youtube channel, or by playing Cycling Managerā€¦ Itā€™s kinda everywhere :stuck_out_tongue:
