This ultimate track hypercar uses a fine-tuned twin-turbocharged V8 made of magnesium, which gives it a massive 1547 horsepower at 9500 RPM - revving to a total maximum of 10500 RPM. Why 10500? For pure madness - and pure aural enjoyment. This is also not-compromised and holds an average reliability rating of 54.9 - much higher than other engines outputting more than 1500 horsepower. Also - which other engine revs up to a crazy 10,500?
With a total curb weight of 1186.4 kg, and a 1547 horsepower engine, **the Cavena SS has a power/weight ratio of 1.3 - each 1 kg of weight is offset by 1.3 horsepower, ** which allows it to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds! As the driver, this will make you feel faster than freefalling - it has an acceleration value of 1.3G (Free-falling is 1G).
All this power and light weight also allows it to achieve a quarter mile in 8.58s… at 306km/h - its top speed being 408.1km/h
Of course, this performance is also at the corners - achieving 1.41G at both 20m and 250m, and a weight distribution of 32F 68R.
