Did my car become rear engined at some point or is that a typo?

So a little summary.
-
You can register as a team (see first post). Deadline 21 August.
-
You will receive a PM from me confirming registration.
-
In response to this PM you can buy a car for the Automation only competition and/or a car for the BeamNG only competition. You don’t need to enter both. If you do, you don’t need to take the same car. Deadline is 23 August. ==> you get the .car file at this point.
-
You must buy your updates (again in that same PM thread) for the first race by 25 August. (Though date is provisional if too soon.)
Summary
Upgrades available for purchase will be:
- race exhaust (removes catalyst and mufflers - allows you adapt exhaust size);
- front and rear aero (can be added and tuned)
- race transmission (allows you to change and retune the transmission);
- brake upgrade (allows you to retune the brakes);
- suspension tuning (allow you to change and retune the suspension);
- limited slip differential (your choice which);
- sport tires (including wider thread);
- oil change (bumps up the fuel type and compression to 98RON);
- weight reduction stage 1 (removes all seats but the driver, which is replaced by a sports sear and the radio);
- weight reduction stage 2 (removes safety and sets quality to -15);
- turbo (adds pre-set ball baring performance turbo - and changes compression to highest allowed Octane).
Price List:
Exhaust | Aero | Gearbox | Brakes | Suspension | Differential | Tires | Oil Change | Weight R1 | Weight R2 | Turbo |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1000 | 500 | 1000 | 500 | 1500 | 500 | 1500 | 1000 | 1500 | 2500 | 8000 |
-
Cheating will be punished severely, so do not adapt any sliders except where explicitly allowed.
-
You can send in a personalized car and your tune (where allowed by the updates bought) for the first race by 29 August. (Though date is provisional if too soon.)
-
Considering fixtures = weight, you can send a personlized car for lore, while also sending a clean tuned car for the actual time.
-
In BeamNG you can drive yourself and send me a replay. The laps are flying laps. Corner cutting is not allowed, you must remain withing the circuit and go no further than the curbs, even if checkpoints allow otherwise.
Important info:
Cars can be sold to multiple users, but I will limit to 1/4 of the field for a single car. So, first come first served.
It is quick becoming apparent that a few cars are proving to be popular choices. In terms of performance. Things should be fairly balanced.
Still time to register for the challenge! Whether only Automation or also for the BeamNG part (which you can drive yourself or let me set a time for you) is a choice up to you.
The updates which you choose to apply or not are going to be decisive in winning.
whats the current field and team selection looking like car wise?
Teams entered are on the bottom of the first post. Cars bought can be shared by the racing team, but if they don’t want so, the organisation will make public this information in their stead.
I can tell you that one car from the catalogue are currently sold out (1/4th rule), two others are nearing that limit, unless other teams enter and widen the field.
How do I buy a car? I already registered.
You registered exactly 5 minutes before your post…
Also, the explanation is exactly 4 posts above yours.
TreadKillers at B-Spec
Today the Treadkillers Crew will showcase the two cars we will be racing at this B-Spec event!
Dragotec Via
The first car is the Dragotec Via, drivin by the boss himself.
Visually nothing much changed Because we were expectiong Aero Carbon parts to arive but Hermes lost them in the post but underneath the rear hatch we feed it better fuel and gave it a complete in-house made exhaust system.
As our second car we got a Reduit! And we found a 2004 body kit for it! Timm, our Turbo Man, didnt knew he was going to drive in this… or that he got this car… which doesnt have a turbo. We think he will hate it, and we are not Sorry.
We went with the only right thing to do, spend all the money on Fiberglass Bumpers and AutoZone stickers. Oh and some wheels. We also did upgrade the brakes. We still need Timm cant get him killed. At least not in a 70hp shitbox. Lets hope this engine can hold 3 bar of boost.
Just a reminder:
Registering as team interested in joining the competition (buyer):
Sending me a PM with:
team name
your three preferred racing numbers (00-99) in order of preference
Deadline by 21 August
Just a few hours left.

These users can buy cars for the AT and/or BeamNG part of the competition if they have not yet done so already. Cars not sold to anyone will be tuned and driven by Bob.
Unless I missed something, I did not yet receive any car choice from you.
The deadline is tomorrow.
This is just the base car. You still have time to choose updates and modify the car after you received the .car file.
I’m just disappointed nobody tried to get 53. I know there’s no beetle, but still.
When does the racing start? If it’s not until mid next week, and if I’m allowed to export and drive my own tuned car and send in a laptime myself I’d be happy to pick up any one car that wasn’t bought yet.
Deadline is 1st September for getting times in - and yes you are allowed to do that.
Does this mean no part of the car may cross the curb or more like FIA rules where at least part of the car must be within track limits?
