NOTE: as Riley suggested, you are, at any point, free to skip any events you feel will be pointless for you. (And tell us why). This of course means if you would otherwise have finished in the points they go to someone else, so choose wisely…
Another note: it is now very likely that after the top speed run, your cars are going to need some time to service so the engine doesn’t lunch itself at Tulsa. This will probably delay proceedings by a day or two. At this point, you have the opportunity to make minor alterations to your car. However this is obviously a limited service, so you can’t change everything! This is a list of components you may alter:
[ul]]Aerodynamic fixtures (lips, wings), their quality and their angle, and amount of ventilation (but NOT undertray)/:m]
]Tyre compound, width, diameter and quality/:m]
]All suspension setup (but NOT quality)/:m][/ul]
People who choose to bye an event can, during that event, replace a few extra components on top of that, namely:
[ul]]gear ratios and final drive (but NOT drivetrain type, number of ratios or quality)/:m]
]brake pad type and size, rotor size, and quality/:m][/ul]
However, if you were eligible for bonus points beforehand and the new changes affect this, you may lose points! Conversely, if you weren’t eligible for an award and you now are, you don’t get any extra points. Those points only go to tunes that satisfied the criteria for the whole league, so choose wisely!
This does not affect bonus points awarded to the categories for the car with the most this or that, those are already set.
Most drivers would be probably better off not changing anything! Whether you do or not is a gamble you decide to take!
IF you wish to skip an event, pm me no less than 24hr before the event is due to begin.
IF you wish to retune your car after Bonneville, pm me your new setup before the 16th! That will be the setup run for the remainder of the stages.
