Barely Street Legal League [SURVEY ON PAGE 70]

cough I saw it too cough

Well, well, might be old “friends”.
Either way, no need to dwell on that (or possible other posts like that), if they wanted to join, they could have submitted a car (or been a cowriter, there are special privileges in that.)
Onwards and, well… To-wards the Salt Flats.

Which prompted this response:

[OOC] what did the post say?

[OOC] It was another nonsense post about a referendum regarding the ban…

Wroom… wroom…

Strop could hear a roar of an engine outside. He took a peek out of the window and spotted a green estate. From what he could see, it was a heavily tuned Skoda, which would not be out of place in his League. Why did it stop at his location though? The car was switched off, and a man in a olive green uniform, and a black cap with blue M written on it got out of the car. Strop could immediately see a giant hammer strapped to the man’s back, and as the mysterious guy approached him, he understood he was the one he wanted to talked to. And then the man pulled out his ID.
Strop’s eyes widened, and he began pulling out some sort of a weapon, all indicating thoughts like “who the fuck brought cops to my place” were running through his head. And then he noticed the ID was not actually a police officer’s badge. Instead, it read as following:

[size=120]MODERATOR SQUAD[/size]
**
Moderator Jack Cossack**

Member ID 21

-Look - Jack Cossack finally spoke up - There is something wrong
-Well, yes there is - Strop could not remind himself of who the hell the Moderator Squad was - There’s some random guy with an enormous hammer at my step and I don’t know what he wants.
-Reall… - The Moderator began responding with a worried tone, but then he realised he was the one strop talked about - Well, I’m a Moderator! We oversee the activities in the world, ya know? Why, you might ask? Well. All the police forces, courts, etc. are trying to make sure nothing illegal takes place. The Moderator Squad, well, the Moderator Squad cares more about BAD things taking place. Now, let’s talk about your street league…

Alright. You know what. To keep Strop from having his ass banned permanently, I’ll fess up. It was my idea. I invented a fiction to add a little spice to this RP. Seeing that I was losing tremendously, and was pretty much irrelevant to the race at all, I contacted Strop. I envisioned a double-agent like character to mess with the other racers for a brief period. I created a car, and PMed to Strop. Since most of these races are legal (in the realm of the actual league) the double-agent would only be able to mess with the other racers for the duration of Race 3 and maybe one other. He (or they, we never really flushed that part out), woudl appear and chase the racers around a bit. Of course they would all get away.

Christ, I had no idea that this would lead to a fucking threat of an IP ban. If Strop had uploaded copy written material, or god forbid, something illegal like CP, then I would have perfectly understood pulling a bull shit, scorched earth move like this. But no. An innocent prank, pulled on people who would’ve no doubt, found it fun in the end, results in threats of someone being banned from a community, of which he has been a part for nearly 7 months. All because someone came in with no formal knowledge and an itchy trigger finger.

Wait so you were slcpd

No. I was not. But I was the reason it exists.

ok

Vos, I think you’ve got it wrong. The only one that could be banned in this history is that stupid SLCPD guy. Why would anyone ban Strop? He’s made this great challenge and hasn’t done anything wrong.

Oh, I see. That’s awkward LOL. Next time vos do run any further embellishments by me first. Not everybody is in the know because the roleplaying started spontaneously and halfway through the thread. But as it stands, I’m now the GM so all plot points and rules of universe are ultimately determined by me. And, as I explained to SLCPD, the golden rule is never to interfere with another player’s character without their consent.

Please refer to kubboz’s post (thanks by the way, I wasn’t even the one to ask!) Likely the same person tried to continue messing around via proxy so kubboz had to intervene further.

And when it comes to being In Character, **disregard any posts not written by players **.

That means no, vos was not arrested so please also disregard vos’ and 8bs’ response. Nobody in the BSLL is getting arrested unless I say so :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay then. Please refer to the map on the precious page for everybody’s movements. And within the next day and a half, get ready for a wild ride!!!

wait, vos, do you who was running SLCPD? or were you inferring what happened and don’t know? If its the latter, you haven’t done anything wrong. If you directly asked/allowed SLCPD to start posting, then yeah that was where things went pear shaped.

(Besides, as kubboz explained, SLCPD insisted on disrupting proceedings even AFTER I explained it was inappropriate and needed to cease and desist. So it was more likely an act of wilful mischief and not any of our responsibility).

It’s all my fault! :open_mouth:

And I thank you for it, because its made things ten times as awesome :stuck_out_tongue: but sometimes these things happen, and unless everybody has experience with roleplaying hiccups can occur, of course.

I was under the impression that SLCPD was contracted by you to act as our little double-agent character. I thought you were in on it.

OK, everybody listen…the “SAFEWORD” is…oh wait…wrong activity. As you were. Carry on!

raises eyebrow

[OOC] Kristina, I think vos is in for a bit of the M part if his behaviour is anything to go by :stuck_out_tongue:
