Most glorious idea, comrade!
Ehhh not founded in the CCCP, however the Russian division was an acquisition post collapse. However I’ll be sure to post some of those prime Soviet cars that плющ Двигатели designed. :
Lore: So essentially in 1992, now that the CCCP had collapsed BIV wanted to be quick in taking a stake in the new Russian market. It was deiced it would be more efficient to buy up all of a previous state ran companies assets. This meant that BIV would already have the necessary infrastructure to start production of their cars. However being that they had no cars “suitable for the Russian market” BIV continued production of the cars produced prior to the Soviet collapse. In 1996 плющ Двигатели produced their first car for the Russian market.

The Model I was the first Vehicle developer by Barkley-Ivy Vehicles. The Model I was designed for an exclusive US market with a production of 232 units per day from their Troy factory. The Model I was meant to be a family car, and only a family. Something cheap, available and made well. The Model I sold for $13,586 or $1,472 in 1956 and was met with moderate success considering it was the companys first car.
