Bavarian Rallye Challenge: The Real Deal [FINISHED]

My sound insulation can go from +0kg to +24.4kg, so do what you will with that information!

The rules state you must save the model as Player Name, however I intend to submit an entry for each class. If I save the model as just player name then the 2nd one will overwrite the 1st.

Would I Be ok to submit the models as Player Name BRC1100 & Player Name Super1000 ?

As the rules states: “BRC 1100 - maffc” and “Super 1000 - maffc”

I think he’s right. The models might be overwritten. I’ll edit the description, the class name will also have to be in the model name.

As long as there is what I want in the beginning of the file name, you can add whatever you like at the end of the file name.

Cheers

I have two questions:

Is it build 1360 for this Rallye?

If yes, is it really obligatory to start a new engine and a new platform?

B1360 is not an automatic update, so no. I would recommend building from scratch with the upcoming public build because I cannot guarantee that everything will be compatible. It’s your choice though.

Looking 4 teammate. Pm Me

Sign me up for BRC 1100 hell!! :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Just to be clear on this, there are NO restrictions on engine other than year, n/a or turbo with displacement requirements, and hours/cost? We can choose any configuration and components including race components so long as we maintain MTBF?

Can engine MTBF be lower than 20000 km in engine editor, if MTBF in model editor is higher than 20000 km, or is this reason for disqualification?

Yes to all. MTBF in the car, not the engine designer. It may be lower than 20000 km in the engine designer.

How do we determine MTBF in the car? The one displayed on the “Drivetrain” tab after engine selection? Sorry for the noob questions, but I’m still trying to figure out a lot about the Car Designer. Cooling and Aero are absolutely killing me. hahaha

Yes, that is the value you should be looking at (for now at least, until a proper reliability stat gets introduced)

OK, on to the next question. Driver Assists are not allowed. So no power steering, ABS, TCS, or ESC? Power Steering was pretty much a standard in 1992 I think. Not sure about rallye cars, however. Are any of these allowed, or am I in the wrong section (wouldn’t be surpised if I were)?

Nope you’ve got it right, all of those are a no-no in this.

OK, removing them added about 1.5s to my times.

I hate that I missed the trial runs!

Subbed as to not lose track of this one.

Guys, make extra sure that your engines dont change their values when they are loaded. i have a 1800cc engine which, after it is saved and reloaded again, becomes a 1801cc engine. I asked Der bayer and this would exclude the car. I’ve now made it a 1799cc engine just to make sure I don’t get any problems.

ps. Der Bayer, for some reason the photo of the car is not showing up when I highlight the model, but it shows up when you highlight the platform. is this going to be a problem?

Just got an automatic update to 1362… so this must be the competition version?
