It’s a pretty awesome game, it’s still Alpha, but it’s playable and you can have a lot of fun in it.
Along with Automation, they are pretty close to what I want in a game and it would be awesome if you could export cars between them.
There is another game like this that I use (however it is not that impressive) that is called Rigs of Rods: rigsofrods.com/content/
It is completely free (no need to pay anything unless you want to donate money), and if you understand how the game works you can make your own terrains and vehicles for the game. The vehicles are extremely hard to do, however the terrains are quite easy. You just need the right programs and you are done. It also uses soft body physics so you can smash cars up, however unlike BeamNG you can drive lorries, buses, cranes, aeroplanes, boats and even the odd submarine and motorbike. You can even sign up and become a forum member, also for free, and share your creations with the rest of the forum (and those who don’t use it), talk about off topic stuff (in the off topic section). At the moment there are a lot of immature 5 year olds spreading across the forum and everybody is getting very tight about the rules of the forum and you can easily get banned if you step a toe out of line. I know this because I use Rigs of Rods and I am attempting to make a terrain for it at the moment. You can find me as CheesemanGT on the Rigs of Rods Forum.
BeamNG is made by the guys that made Rigs of Rods. They are making the same game, with a different engine and it’s going to be less sandboxy and more focused on various gamemodes.
