I was watching a couple youtube videos about a guy testing various bearing types. This brought me to think about the advantages of ceramic bearings on auto hubs and drivelines (which have been done for several years now). To think about the facts that they supposedly last 5 times longer then steel bearings if they are grade 5 ceramic, and fuel efficiency they would be a no brainer for manufacturers for fuel efficiency reasons. That also brought me to think about implementing them into the game. Has this been considered?
Did he also mention the cost?
Grade 5 drag race bearings are around $750 (the ones I saw). So there is a cost difference initially, but the cost is coming down, so could be a viable option in game near the end.
One of the problems I see with this is that it is what I don’t consider to be a very important decision at all in the grand scheme of things.
