Will we allow or forbid the 4.4m limo body?

Anything above 2.8 is fair game

Why is an open diff cheaper than the in game cost? Surely a 1970’s taxi wouldn’t have an LSD of any kind anyway.

Taxi? Hmm… for a car valuing prestige at the top and price at the bottom, it sure is a low budget. I’ll build a taxi if that’s what it be, but I’d rather make something deserving a proper interior.

If fully independent rear suspension is allowed, shouldn’t it add an extra $1000 AMU to the base price of any car to which it is fitted?

Which Game Version is required?

I’m assuming this challenge will use the latest stable release, unless we’re explicitly told otherwise.

Actually wanted to see some discussion on that. Does anyone want to use superchargers and think it can elevate their builds? Cause personally I do think it can be done and rules will change to accommodate for that (mainly the minimum for comfort and drivability and possibly the price range. But current ruleset is on stable version.

It’s a luxury taxi/limo you could say. It’s meant to drive executives from town to town.

Balancing reasons, I think the advantage of LSD is too big over the open diff, but i don’t want to discourage using LSD over open diff by making it more expensive, so i made the open diff cheaper. Lore wise, it’s an old tech and it saves on labor costs so it’s cheaper. I put it there since if you think you can achieve a good drivability with open diff, you get to put the money in other areas like interior or maybe brakes!

Alright, people, decide.

  • Stable build, cause it’s working well.
  • Al Rilma, Because I think a supercharger can elevate the builds

I clearified this priority, for those who got confused.

but it needs to be the the decade, or the actual year of 1970?

It’s 1970 the year, not the decade
