Bore/Stroke Ratio Lock

What dictated the need for a lock on the bore/stroke ratio? It’d be cool to play around with massive oversquaring/undersquaring to do things like F1 style engines or motorbike engines. Of course then we’d need some changes to our RPM limits, valve springs and other things, but I think there could be a lot of depth to be explored there.

To keep the calculations as accurate as possible is the short answer… the long answer can be found in the linked thread.

There is a reason to this Ratio Lock - restricts totally stupid 50x120mm engines or other wacky unrealistic combinations. Sure there will be one or two normal consumer engines that wont be possible - but 98% are being able to built.
